Hey,

I have been having the same problems with Arcade mode too, the cars just don't want to steer. So do I want to turn off ASM and leave on TCS? That sound right? Will have to try that when I get home, it was doing my nut in though!

I've never had problems with the cars I have tried in Arcade mode but that was on the NTSC version. Maybe things changed for the worse with the PAL release.

Yeah I know! I did the pace car on the third attempt. Came off at the same corner 6 1/2 minutes through twice. I almost hit myself in frustration!

Nurburgring lap is the last test of the S license. I did it first time, thankfully.

Got round to getting my S license at last and the Nurburgring was much easier than when it had the pace car on. I don't know the course at all well but with that not there at least I could see the curbs better.

Took me three attempts, with the first two ending on the grass at 6.30ish - probably that very same corner

Regarding arcade mode, I've not had the understeer problems (US NTSC version) but I do turn off the assistants which really bug me.

got it today. haven't played it because my jap ps2 hk messiah chip doesn't like dvd-9 luckily i got it for 99p in that game trade in thing. i'll just part ex it for something, any recommendations anyone. i know this is a bit off topic.

spent all my hard earned credits on a Mercedes SLR (610,000 credits) and it handles like a bloody rollerskate ..... nearly every corner round the ring has to be dropped down to 2nd gear to take without spinning out

Nice, what USB memory stick did you use? As the two I have don't work, they are cheap and nasty though...

I have a Memorex 128 Mb one I bought from Play and that was fine. I am still waiting for my PAL GT4. Simply games post things Second Class by default. Not to worry though I had to try something on the Japanese version for someone and then continued with my American game for a short while (got called out to sort someones new DVD and TV... the danger of being into such things!!).

I know, it's alarming. I've never felt anything as fast in a game - I was genuinely scared of crashing it.

Eek. Just tried doing the GT thing in the Professional race mode and they're all Group C type cars. Where do you earn them?

That Bently is ****ing superb, however I've seen an even better, all black version on the internet. In fact the picture I saw had 4 all black cars in it, all of them super cars that are in the game, not sure if it was fake or whether they're actually unlockable.

Between days 694 and 700 there are 4 black Race Cars that can be found used.

Used Car Showroom II:

Toyota GT-One Race Car '99 = 2,924,999 (aha, not actually the bently then )

Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car '98 = 2,924,999


Used Car Showroom I:

Mazda 787B Race Car = 1,224,999

Nissan R92CP Race Car = 1,224,999
