I?m not sure. Did Polphony make some adjustments for each market in previous GT games?
I think for the European of GT3 they took out some of the F1 cars and this Lenny Kravitz song - if I?m not mistaken.
I don?t know if these cars were included in the Japanese version as well though.
Maybe the European release got some other cars then to compensate for the F1 cars?

    Matt Horne:
But then the Japanese version was probably already completed some time around early December, which again gives them time enough to do some modifications for the other releases.

Yea, of course it is. A FAT-12 file system is what you're describing.

There is always GT Planet if you're stuck though, theres an extensive guide there.

A proper 1080i Xbox is running 1080i, whereas GT4 isnt.
Yes it is, but the games resolution hasn't increased.

"(it says the prologue save it corrupt but it isn't; weren't there two revisions?)"
Yeah, there's Chinese & Japanese versions. Plus a Korean one too.
Actually, wasn't it me who sold you a (Chinese) copy of Prologue? One of my memory cards got corrupted soon after I got it, so there's maybe an issue there regarding Chinese/Japanese version compatability with it.

GT4 seems to run at 640x1080i, not 1280x1080i like the XBox, which would explain the difference.

As for the Exige not being present, (a) yes - the Motorsport Elise is an Exige with a lower skirt, since it doesn't need to clear speedbumps on a track, and (b) GT3 (PAL, anyway) got the handling of the Exige really wrong anyway, so if it's not there I won't miss it too much.

Don't know what sort of pictures you wanted but here is my current desk top done using Gran Turismo 4 photo mode, my Evo IV in Shibuya.

There are examples of using photo mode in the reference book. The exposure setting is great, used in JU!'s post.

I'll get some up when I next play

Erm, sitting in the shop 'cos they're ****! I've only got cars I have won so far (you get a car for each license, starting with the Lupo), concentrating on the minor events first before I need to buy a car like that (like for a four-wheel drive event, or something).

That Lupo out-performs ALL the stock Nissans anyway (and has NOS), no need to upgrade yet

How in gods name does a lupo out perform a r34 ?!?!?!

                            Comment

'cos I changed all the parts on it. Notice I said stock Nissans... if I did the same to an R34 then it'd be a different story. It is too expensive at this stage in the game to be playing with the big boys (and not to mentioned has limited entry requirements so you need a car like the Lupo). At least the Lupo was free (License B) and cheap to buy bits for. The gearing has been changed so it is longer in the upper range, avoiding max-revs down the straights. Plays hell with the acceleration through 5th, but that's where the NOS helps It flies out of corners and 'cos of the weight, is far nippier than the stock R34 (which, from having a play, suffers from WAY to much under-steer and is in dire need of tweaking).

IIRC, it puts out about ~346bhp. I don't remember the torque values.
