Ratteld some more SP and live last night, absolute class game!! Live worked like a dream and TBH I dont have a problem with the boost meter, its a little abstract yes, but for me it works fine.

For Burnout I am a 3rd person view man nad the shout that it is for girls is ridiculous... the view you use has no bearing on how manly you are silly lad its all about getting as much of an advantage as possible. IMO, 3rd person is perfect for this tyype of game as it helps you to ensure your takedowns are more accurate.

On live I played Raod rage with some Yanks the back of 12 and TOTALLY cleaned up... 3 6 round events and I won the lot... in some of them I had the 3 of them out myself in around 30 seconds, it was great... I gues when they silent ti means they dont like what just happened to them cause they weren't saying much

Up to level 5 "Fearless" in World Tour and got lots unlocked. Couldn't put it away and only managed to turn it off at 2.30 am, am in love with The Burnout!!

Am away in Blackpool this weekend o play will be non existent unitl Sunday night and ALL DAY Monday. Hope you boys get up to speed for then and are ready for some more live Takedowns... I will play am Aracde Machine for all of you yoshi, that Outrun SP has your name all over it, hehehehe.

Plan to carry out a little Road Rage event on the drive down... hopefully be some opportunities for vertical takedowns... hnoestly though, it is going to be hard to resist the temptation to take other folk out on that big open road happy driving boys!!

DavidFallows - Yep you can have custom soundtracks

Yoshimax-UK - Thought as much with the camera. I didn't know about the camera being locked on live! To be honest though I don't mind so much with that though as I like playing Crash with the 3rd person camera as I find it a little easier to cause maximum destruction!

I'm still loving this game, making good progress too! I've reached the top rank and still have all the races in ranks 9 & 10 to do!

I've found it fairly easy up till now, but it's starting to get a bit harder (for me at least!). Even once I have done the last sets or races I still have to go back and get all those stars!

Caved in today, got it. Once again Criterion win me over... just had a quick blast at work and it's absolutely jaw droppingly nice. Did the first traffic check and got a score of 2.5 million.... seemed a bit easy but thats because it was the first event.

            Here comes an explosive weekend.

Rented it out yesterday, played it for a couple of hours and it`s pretty much the same as burnout 3 but with the traffic checking. Found it abit boring overall tbh with not much of a challenge and the games main focus is pretty much ram anything in your way. Even with 3 though you needed to dodge through traffic to build up your gauge which added at least some tention to the action, where now It`s just hold down the accelerator, boost and ram ram ram. Graphics are nice though but besides that there`s not much to warrent a purchase.

This doesn't sound like my kind of game at all - I need something new to play on Live though.

I played the demo much like I played 3 - fearing traffic all the way. When I tried to be more aggressive, and plough straight through the traffic... I went straight into the back of an artic. So I went back to being cautious. Think that's how I'll start out tonight (offline, of course).

Many, many happy memories of Live Road Rage; hope they'll be repeated. (And hope I can convince some of you back to GR2:SS)...

Bah, curse Tesco's and their lack of new Xbox titles.

Just been playing the game online for the past 3 hours, it truley is fantastic! I dont really want to go offline and play the challenges as i had enough headache with that on BO3. But its seems you can level up in XBL and slowly unlock new cars!

Played with Mood, Goldbricker, WideGoat, Ben81 and oh man, the courses really are great for all kinds of carnage, and jumps! JEEBUS THE JUMPS!!!!! Driving full pelt with a full boost bar over a jump and being able to control the car mid air...amazing feeling tbh.

Loveley and nice online, theres never a moment of silence with people shouting "****!", "****!" and my personal fav, "FUUUUUUCK!" xD

The Road Rage modes are just as good as ever, but the courses and the handling to me, feel much better than 3. The way some of the shortcuts criss cross parts of the track so you can see other players zooming past is great. Lots of things to knock out the way such as bins, gates, fences etc makes it a little bit more unerving for someone following behind as they see all the crap heading towards them.

My favourite course at the moment has to be the mountain side track. Great downhill section where you can power slide it round 4 corners all in one go, and then racing on the edge of the mountain...or if you are a bit risky, taking a shortcut by trying to drive down a narrow dirt track to try and skip a bit of the track, havnt managed it yet!

All round, really enjoying, prolly will be forced to do single player sooner or later, but, ill let someone else comment if that is the case.

The single player doesnt interest me in the slightest...might go through it at minimum level, but im ****ed if i will try and go for golds\platinum on them.

Those of you with xbox's and not on live, it comes with a 2 month trial.

Also, from me atleast, havnt encountered any EA live server problems which were in all there past games from Burnout 3 and Timesplitters 3. Athough, Hankwang has a different story, and hasnt been able to get past the loggin on screen. :/

That was my exact feeling after the first few events but that doesnt represent the game overall. The Traffic Attack mode is pants, look past it and put a few hours into the game and you'll find its still Burnout underneath. The best way to play is online racing with 6 people, then you'll see what its all about.

Been playing it online for abit earlier and agree It is pretty good online in race mode with the traffic coming back into the equation. But still with the single player mode being so dull and the online side being good but not that good to over look the single player I`ll give it a miss.

Oh yea any of you out there that think they can beat me in a race, let me know.

I've made alot of new friends/rivals online since last week. It's a beautiful thing, both in 1st and 2nd and we're fighting away when he takes me down into a car but takes himself down in the process. We then proceed to get our fight on straight after, while tearing through every other person in the race like they did'nt exist until we were back up in 1st and 2nd.Class.

Seriously i have'nt played ANYONE who's whooped me on this yet.Not gonna happen.
