haha, can't say i've tried cramming vehicles into my garage. Anyone else have the problem of actually opening the garage door at the first hideout? it's a bit touchy and i find myself pissing about infront of the door like a mongy just to get it open.

Rise FM is now my favourite station with old skool dance classics such as Spin Spin Sugar and others. This might the most fun i've had playing a GTA game. And that's saying something. I love the mafioso theme it has to it, Tonys Ma' is just like Tony Sopranos Ma in The Sopranos!!

I'm playing this too much. Got it on Friday. 40 hours in already. That's why I've not posted anything here.

The game's great... it's everything I expected it to be.

There a number of ways you can look at LCS though. Glass half-full, half-empty - that drill.

Yep! In GTA:SA I would be lifted off the ground by the garage door, now it wont open Its minor though...

It's weird isn't it! You walk up to it and it doesn't open.....so you walk away and it starts to open......so you go back and it slams in your face before opening for you as if you have just arrived! It's silly, but only a small, forgiveable fault in an otherwise OUTSTANDING game! I loves it I do

              There a number of bugs.

One is that there are stutters as the UMD is accessed (pauses a la Virtua Tennis). They don't happen often, but they're there.

The second is that the garage doors can be overly twitchy (though it's a nit-picky complaint).

My main concern is that the radio stations sometimes skip... this has happened quite a bit during Portland, but barely at all on Staunton Island and Shoreside Vale (so far).

As for the camera and targeting. I don't know what certain websites were bitching about a few days ago. The latter is no worse than any other GTA game (perhaps even a bit easier due to the more relaxed mission set), while the former's streamlining doesn't impact negatively much on the play.

I'm guessing that there is sometimes a delay in the garage doors if it hasn't got the vehicles behind it loaded into memory. Just a theory.

Yeah thats why it is, cause it takes a good while longer when you have 4 cars in the one garage!

Ahh so it's not just me with a sticky door then, phew. It's nothing major indeed and Doggs theory sounds like a goodun. It's so damn good i'm glad to hear they're doing another one on the PSP!

GTA has always had bugs but it doesnt make the game any less than superb every time. With the loading of the floor appearing under your car, textures unblurring 2 feet infront of you and the sometimes twitchy aiming/camera... i dont know how they get away with it

They get away with it because the design outshines the circumstances of the technical limitations. When everything clicks into place, there are few series that offer a better sense of immersion.

I just spent my lunch break playing GTA, I managed to do two missions.

The one where your mum calls a hit on you, and the one where Vincenzo sets you up, two good missions. I only have missions left for Maria and JD

I was getting quite annoyed at my inability to shoot the bad guys and ended up swearing infront of a Jehoavas Witness who I work with. I am going to hell.

This is a fantastic game, I cant get enough of it.

Already sold mine. Same old, Same old GTA, which wouldn't have been so bad, had it not been for one singular problem.

The analog nub cannot be used for extended sessions of play, and makes cornering on vehicles practically impossible. Oh well, there's always the PS2 version.......

sold it? i take it you didnt try pausing it and changing the control style to use the d-pad? i know what you mean i cant get on with the analogue nub either.

And conecpt, thats spot on. Its so classy that a few niggles doesnt bring it down

Wow, really? I have had no problem with the nub at all (maybe there is a difference between the black and white PSPs???) and I hate the PS2 mushrooms >_<

Handbreak corning GTA vehicles is so tight - if your happy to blindly carve into a turn that may see you hitting an on coming truck!
