Good impressions - keep em coming

oh btw - I downloaded some PDZ clan matches, the guys in the vids were running about with their gun holstered like ILiuz suggested. Either they're all tits or it does increase running speed.

You're right - the type of weapon being held does seem to effect your speed (pretty obvious really). Moving with a pistol is certainly faster than trying to move with the Rocket Launcher

I wouldn't feel comfortable running around in a deathmatch with my weapon holstered mind... I'd feel all naked and exposed

In the split second it takes to draw your weapon you could be pumped full of lead.

        Forgot to add, the little
intro is great - don't think I'll ever get bored of seeing that

Sweet, didn't realise it had bots. I can get some practice in until I get the wireless network adapter, at least then I won't look like a total PDZ virgin.

Further to the post made in another thread about people in GA forum moaning about wireless controllers being too laggy, you can be reassured that there's no problems with this.

I was popping headshots aplenty today and they all hit their mark where and when the should (well, not all of them as I'm not that good a shot, but you get what I mean).

If people are getting lag so bad that it's effecting play it'd mostly likely be caused by something else.

low battery no doubt, typical school boy error. I heard some moaning about it taking too long to kill people in MP? Is this the case? does a headshot knock someone out in 1 shot? would be a horrible mistake if they missed out on hit locations

Multi Player does seem to gift everyone with very resilient health levels. Its quite easy to compensate for after a while though - you just have to bare it in mind and don't think you can stand there hoping to peg them all guns blazing. With this game it's still possible but more of a gamble.

As for headshots, I'm pretty sure they're still in there - to my utter shame I haven't commited one on line yet (I'm soooo going to get my arse kicked aren't I?)

One thing that is annoying, and was hihglighted by 1Up a while ago, is the inability to turn off the Multiplayer announcer. You can block it out after a while I find it's really irritating.

From what i've read is takes a good few headshots to take someone out who is wearing armour - about 3-5 depending on the gun.

Is their the option to play without armour, Spacial? and have you come by any options to adjust player/bot health?

Picked this up today, shame I haven't got a 360 though

There is some weird little hologram card thing in the tin edition, what it is, I just don't know

I haven't seen any - and just to confirm that headshots are definately in multiplayer

To be honest, Darkops is where it's at in multiplayer. Deathmatch just feels like any old Deathmatch, but Darkops is much slower in pace and a lot more fun, working as a team is great (go Team Carrington tbh)

Sabotage (protect and destroy equipment) and Infection (bit of a free for all with the infected persons get point for infecting others and those who aren't get points if they survice the round) in Darkops are top notch

Played this today, thought the intro was very stylish and Joanna herself was very sexy indeed! Gameplay took a while to adjust to however, as the controls are VERY different to the Halos. If you press the 'right bumper' JD fits a silencer to her gun, and the effect just looks amazing! The sound effects and music were excellent, and while I'm sure it won't be long before the 360 produces a game that looks better then this, right now it looks very good graphically.

One thing I found which is probably due to me playing too close to the TV (I was on a demo pod after work) is that I found it quite hard to make out some details, for example I had to disable 2 power circuit things at the start by following 2 cable lines with this flying robot and I couldn't even see them, so I turned it off. Also the door decoding machine is retarded- despite this I really can't wait to get stuck into this game!

I really hope you can play without armour - armour is the same as shields in Halo - GAY!!!

Just got my Limited Edition (no console yet of course) and thought I'd whack on the DVD but oh no.
You need a 360 to play it. Wankers. Its just a DVD! On the plus side i'm dead excited now.
