    Does getting the expansion have any effect on the main game? As I assume I'm quite early on too.

      it's completely seperate from the game's main quest, you can delve in and out of Sheogorath's realm at any time back in Cyrodiil, roll on the 27th as it looks awesome. Another 30-40 hours for 20 quid is a good deal in my book

        Just a note to peeps. Xbox Live is due to be taken down for scheduled maintenance on the 27th for 14 hours, so you might want to get the download in early if you're looking to play Shivering Isles on date of 'release'.

                  On the positive, I've finally cured my damn vampirism! Took me 3 days!
                  Very rewarding quest to do, but it wiped out my money getting those damn Grand Soul Gems - I'm broke.

                    I am only 6 hours into my second run through of this game and have already stumbles across two new quests. The game is astoudning.

                      In Light the Dragonfires, fixed issue where improper journal would appear if you closed an Oblivion gate.
                      In Till Death do They Part, fixed an issue where Melisande would not properly give you Cure Vampirism potion

                            Well got the patch and cant see anything different just yet but they have added the 10 new achievements to the list ready and waiting for the shivering isles.

                            Got Tuesday and wednesday off, how lucky

                              Is anyone using the mod that levels out enemies so that they don't level up with you? I don't like the idea that no matter how strong I become I still will struggle to slay normal enemies.

                                you guys are crazy how can u not notice the visual improvment for stuff in the distance?? what it looks like theyve done is place a detail texture over the lorrez distance stuff, so it looks a bit better like when u get right up to s wall gears. also, notice how it doesnt say 'Loading' when wiondering around the wilderness and doestn pause as long. also, when its loading in new landscape textures, rather than just instantly chaning, it gradulally draws them in smoothly and outword like it does with the grass. its a much better experience outdoors now.
