If you're into collecting stuff there's a special First Print Limited Edition Korean version that's just been released (you can get it on Play Asia). It's NTSC/J and comes with a special post card set.

The only way we're gonna do this is to find someone in JPN, PP them the money and they PM us the code.

            Anyone able to do this!?

Sorry if these posts are going slightly off topic, I just really want some Senko themed goodness!
I emailed National Console Support and they said they're able to get Japanese game point cards, but I didn't order one yet because I didn't see a good enough reason to just yet. Now's probably a good time.

And, guys, we need to schedule some matches. It's really lonely over here . Is it okay if I just add everyone who posted in this thread onto my friends list so I have a better chance at getting a match ready?

Wishful thinking, is the Korean one region free?

NTSC-J only according to Play Asia.

Based on my recent matches with Ganbare Goemon, I've come to the conclusion that Sakurako is the hardest to learn out of all the characters because she doesn't shoot a lot of stuff.

I'd love to play some snr matches online, as I have only been able to play a couple of friends offline here and there.

The Rounder status explained in G.Rev's latest newsletter!

Speed: States the Rounder's natural movement speed and dash duration. The higher, the faster the natural movement speed and the longer the dashes are. That explains why Fabian's mech has the highest value.

Fire: Determines main and sub weapon cooldown damage potential and/or effectiveness at long range. This value does not determine how many charge gauge slots your Rounder will have. You'll notice that the Rounders with this high value are really annoying to get close to.

Close: Determines the speed of the startup animation and minimum distance of the melee dash as well as overall effectiveness of either melee attack. Sakurako has the highest since she has zero startup time for her melee dash, moves surprisingly fast, and has a sub melee attack that can chase you down.

Defence: Damage modifier when hit by weapons. The higher the value, the less damage taken when hit by any attack. Karel and Ernula take the least damage from anything Culian can lose a lot on any direct hit.

                        Hugging Pillows?

They're also planning to release two PVC models sometime next year. Darn it, I need to save money!

I posted my review of the arcade version here. There are a few negative criticisms which I haven't seen anyone bring up, so I thought it's worth linking.

I mean I love the game, but I think it's far from the perfect versus shooter that most people in this thread make it out to be.

i got my japanese copy the other day and went through two characters on easy.

i hardly ever play japanese shooters and as such i am terrible at it. easy is super easy and it has eased me in to the game and i'm looking forward to upping the difficulty.

when it comes out i highly recommend that people pick it up. it looks lovely and plays really well.

i can't comment on how much depth it has (referencing the ehadlines thread) as i am playing it on easy but as the difficulty is increased i can see there being as much strategy and depth as any fighter as that what it really feels like.
