Your best bet is to manually move a guy to the near post to so you covered in that area, most of the AI corners are usually played into that area. Even if the corner is aimed for the middle of the box most of the time the near post defenders will clear it before it gets there. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the tip Ezee. I played a few online games today and its pretty depressing to see that players seem to be using the same teams the whole time. Inevitable I guess, but disappointing.

i know what you mean buts its kind of inevitable, inter for example are so unbalanced that if you choose a mid or even decent level team unless your opponent is a total spanner you haven't got a chance.

i started out trying to be arsenal, lyon and a few others and just had a crappy record and got nowhere.

unless you are a top level player its really hard to succeed regularly with any but the top couple of teams.

It surprises me that even now, after all these months, almost everyone uses the same teams. Its either Inter, Barca or Man Utd. Oh, and of course, the idiots who choose Brazil even when I choose a club side first. With them I play the game and then insist on a swap, usually resulting in them getting rinsed.

I use Arsenal almost exclusively (they are the team I support) and often now play without Henry just so people don't moan about the one trick pony team...of course I also point out that they have a strong striker, and second striker, and goalie, defenders etc...

Yeah, I get sick of playing against the same teams. I try and use Liverpool as much as possible but their strikers just aren't good enough. Kuyt's not too bad but Crouch's stats are nowhere near as good as they should be, they've barely improved over PES5, and his stats in that were the same as when he was a Southampton bench warmer

Arsenal are quite fun to use so I tend to pick them mostly these days, even if Eboue and Clichy get tired after 60mins in my system. Finnan and Riise can just run and run for a full game.
