Anyone got any tips for getting rupies?

I'm trying to raise that 1000 for that bloke in Karkariko Villiage, domated 400 so far, and I now plan to raid the treasure chests I left earlier cause I wa full up on rupies. Need some get rich quick ideas!
    Yes -

There's a cave at lake Hylia with loads of cash in it, about 500 I'd say. Make sure you've got plenty of bombs (20+ at least) and climb up the rocks opposite the cannon house and you'll find a clearing. There's a bit of water with a box in it (containing a fairy) and the cave entrance is to the left.

Sorry I can't be more descriptive, fingers crossed you can find it.

Oh I know the cave! But IIRC I left most of the rupies cause I was full, thanks for reminding me

Aye, a dead Beatle at that. I just had the ouija board out there and he seemed more concerned about the George Martin remixes to be honest.

Of course, but I wanted it finished asap so I could actually go into Zelda threads I wouldn't be spoiled, plus I had a review to write for PALGN that needed to be up in time for the PAL launch. Saying that I think I did see a great deal of the game. Besides, I plan to play it through again properly after Xmas so I can do everything and play it through with Component cables.

              Im stuck big time.

Ok, im up to the third section where you have to find those beatle/insects in the zwilight. Ive done the part where you have to melt the ice, and now have all the insects on the right hand side of the map. Its the ones of the left that are causing me problems (the river). Mida says i should use the warps and that bird/monster, but what the hell do i sing to call it back? (ive found the wolf grass) however i have no song sheets or anything like in other Zelda games to use. Anyone got an idea what the hell im supposed to be doing?

Just worked out it shows you on screen, opps

33 Hours? I've clocked up about seven hours and I've only just finished the second twilight section!

I've just done the bits where you

sumo wrestle ( ), fight orcs whilst on horseback and then joust.

That last one is one of the most exciting set peices I've ever played. Breathtaking stuff!

Aside from my complete inability to fish, I'm loving this game. I thought the graphics were a bit pants at the very beginning (it's alarming how quickly you get used to 360-standard graphics, I've had mine less than two months) but after the first couple of mini-quests in the village, it improves significantly and becomes very easy on the eye. End of the day though, it doesn't matter - this is a superbly designed and incredibly playable game. It just feels right.

Under the waterfall, but it's one way! Can't go back that way!

35 hours? I'm having fun just wandering round the world finding all the hidden areas and heart pieces...

Finally played Zelda last night, had it since Friday but had been soooo engrossed in multiplayer Wii Sports & Play that I never really got the chance to have a go but all in all I'm impressed.

It's an absolutley gorgeous game, the graphics are lovely the whole world looks fantastic, Epona is the most amazing creature to ever grace a Nintendo game

Still havent got very far in it...in fact I still havent been able to return the bloody cat to the shopkeeper lady at the beginning

Control is a little clumsy at times & I'm actually dreading the first time I have to weild a sword in anger but all in all I'm mighty impressed with the whole package.

Oh & who needs Dolby Digital when Pro Logic 2 can be put to such great use

                          Neil

Indeed, i will be going back to it and playing about in the world without a doubt, it's just with a girlfriend on your case about 7 hours long sessions it needed to be cleared so i can rest easy and take the rest of the game on more casually (2 hours sessions )

At first I was a little underwhelmed (high expectations). But after an hour or so with the swordfighting/fishing/slingshot etc being thrown at you thick and fast it leapt up in my estimation! Don't wanna do too much though until I get RGB, plus like Soundwave we've been engrossed in wii sport/play and mii building far too much!

I'm not feeling this yet...it's good but it's not great like Zelda should be. I've been advised to give it at least 10 hours, because it takes that long to get going. I'm at about 3. It started well and then went a bit too text heavy.

I'll give it more time though because the controls feel so damn good.
