I've binned it. Felt like a poor man's Gran Turismo to be honest. Driving was okay, the AI was just as bad as in GT, the presentation was awful, truly awful. They must have got the geniuses who made the Crackdown videos to make the graphics for the front end menus. Dreadful. Compared to the GT:HD *free demo* this is a distant second place.

Instead of grinding away at Forza I went back to Gears of War and had a great time. Here's to playing games you like over new games you feel you should be playing, cheers!

What exactly do you think makes the presentation awful mate? I dont get people saying this at all. Fair enough if you dont like the game itself but I think it's pretty well done. And the AI is clearly better than GT. Saying that its the same is very wrong.

Not trying to be snappy mate, just wanna know how you feel this way.

It's certainly nowhere near the quality of any GT so far and the design isn't exactly amazing...it's hardly what I'd call a poor game though.

i see what people mean, the GT series and Forza series will allways have big differences. However

Forza has more exotic supercars, GT4 doesn't.
GT4 has more cars but 40-50% of them are boring or to old.
GT4 is a very long game, Forza isn't anywhere near as long.
GT4 has more tracks, Forza 2 has barely any.(at the moment)

Im on level 47 now, but it is a long struggle. I dont mind really the fact that most of the later races are the same regurgitated tracks, but what really is starting to grate is how you are forced to start 7th or 8th in the later races and constantly being taken out by the other cars.

The AI seems to be far too agressive, and as such the races can turn infuriating. I like a challenge, but boy is it annoying me.

The problem might be that Im running on the highest difficulty with no aids on and full damage, but the races should get harder but still maintain an edge of fairness.

Definitely cannot wait to get career mode finished and concentrate on online multiplayer. That is where the future of this great game is.

Out of interest how many CR's are there between levels at that sort of stage ? I'm on level 31 and it's 150,000 CR to level 32

Plenty of them on the auction, but theyre silly buyout prices. I managed to pick up the last Korean car earlier on the auction site (via buyout) for a fraction of the price "in the dealership". Some good deals to be had on there.
