Thanks anyway everyone, i might keep tampering with the tuning, maybe change the gears slightly.

The power from fully tuned 6L V12 would be astronomical, theres nothing you can do but be gentle with the throttle and keep practising.

I mean in EVERY menu. I'm trying to go through the tuning menus and while i'm resizing a shape, it'll then immediately flicker between skew and rotate while i'm resizing.

Depends if you are on easy or hard. If you find it too tricky but can't deal with tuning or upgrading, just go down a difficulty level.

Just in case there's any confusion, tuning is adjusting the parts you already have, e.g. gear ratios, spring stiffness. Upgrading is adding turbos, sticky tyres, aero etc.

No, I know the tuning section, with the slider thingys. Just used my "downforce disc" lyrics as it was the only car talk I could remember at the time

At the moment I drive with only the stability gubbin off (STM is it?). This seems to be going well for me. Guess, I just better read the help text on the menus. Don't want to be out foxxed in a race because some dude adjusted his gubbin nubbin springs by 0.8% of a shilling.

Yeh the descriptions on each tuning option are pretty good. I'm no car expert, but have had acheived some tremendous results with taming tail happy cars with adjustable rear wing upgrades etc. It truly is very satisfying to tune a car out of being a nightmare for a particular track into a winner.

I think they erase the car don't they? I'm sure I read somewhere on here in a quote from the developers (or whatever) that if they see a car that breaks the rules on the auction house they just remove it and delete it or something.

Just got this finally. What can I say, absolutely brilliant game, just wish they'd stop with that penalty system. I still fail to see how coming to a full stop in the gravel benefits me so much I have to take a few seconds penalty as well .
