Man the wait is killing me, wish Id waited now and not preordered from VG+ Anyone had any problems with twitchy controls or is it all gravy?

And another thing, why doesn't it come up on screen with who's speaking? It's all very well having the voice icon appear over their head but that's not much cop when your miniature army is spread out all over the map.

Such a small point but a bit of a no brainer really.

Unless I'm being El thicko again and missing it somewhere on the screen - there's so much going on during a game it's hard to keep up

Gears doesn't do it either, and although it's only 8 player I still miss it if you're in a room of randoms, mainly because when an American says "Are you british" in an appallingly faux-film-based-UK accent I can't tell which of the buggers to stick on mute, that mute thing is a really good feature that I always forget about!

"No, I'm ****ing spanish" is my usual response, followed by "Now kindly stop abusing the language we gave you".

yeah, that's a bit gash. You can see some feedback on the minimap (or large map) when someone is talking as their dot flashes yellow. But yeah, even that's guff.

Are there proper servers for this or is it all user-hosted games? I don't have a good connection (And I read that Capcom only has something like 20,000kps or some or crazy figure; I'm on 512) so I think I might skip it unless there are proper servers.

proper servers are there yes. these are in blue text. Essential for ranking up.

yep does take some time to get in some games

You'll find much more choice if you set region to 'All' in filter options. Joined lots of US servers with no lag.

so blue games are all ranked? white player matches?
i find it really hard to get into ranked even if here are a few places left,

any tips?

It can be difficult...

With the larger matches (24 players) I only try if there is about 3 or 4 places left.

Ranked have a little trophy symbol next to the name I think, cant be 100% sure though as I took my PS3 to a relatives and the sides were cut off so I couldnt see half the screen but I'm pretty sure there's a little trophy symbol.
