      SHEPARD SNAP!

I suspect there are many similar looking male and female Shepard's out there

Cheers for the hints, hope it'll sort me out.

Those characters remind me of Jo Dark and what she should look like nowadays.

        hotty.

My fem Shep looks exactly the same as Believeddog's. Just finished my third playthrough (male engineer for normal, female soldier for hardcore & insane), currently working on a male adept (back on hardcore).

Planning ahead for my fifth playthrough will be taking my engineer through insane (I still need the damping, ai hacking and neural shock achievements).

Sixth and seventh will be for infiltrator and vanguard, don't know if I can be bothered with sentinel

I can't believe you're finding it interesting or enjoyable to play after so many completions. There really isn't five completions worth of content in there. Barely two I'd argue.

I'm on my fourth playthrough. I'll probably stop on my fifth playthrough so that I don't over do it.

For all my problems with the game I like it enough to try another playthrough, I think - don't know when, though, what with one of my housemates borrowing it and so many other games to catch up with. But I would do it and genuinely think it's worth trying. I can see how people could go for three or four where I wouldn't - I think the Renegade option is nothing but being an asshole and I could never bring myself to go for the achievement... but, hey, some people appear to enjoy that kind of thing. I think Biotics are fairly uninteresting (not to mention kind of pointless) but, again, different strokes if you can convince yourself they're fun and exciting. Five or six times through and up, though, I can't really get my head around.

I found that most of the non-standard features looked a bit nasty, especially the noses!!

I plan on taking my current character through at least once more on Hardcore as a Sentinel. It was the class I wanted to run through as originally, but thought it would be too weak. Now I quite fancy the mix of tech and biotics, especially seeing as I can choose a second weapon specialisation. Then I'll do a third run through as a new Shepard and probably tackle the Soldier class.

Way I see it, if I do everything on the first run, I can treat subsequent runs as though I'm watching a good film again and just do the missions I fancy rather than satisfying my urge to see it all.

Really loathing the save system in this, it says it has an autosave function which seems to only auto save in the most inconvinient points.

It's hard to judge when to save as you could stumble into a battle at any time, irritating if you get ambushed and die.

That irritated me to no end aswell. I can't remember if kotor had a better one or not, i just remember making at least 2 saves every now and again due to its buggy nature. Which i then did on mass effect because of the ****ty save system.

Kotor saved every 15 minutes if you hadn't moved from one significant area to another. such as the wards where the swoop gangs were.

I find that if you work on the 2 save method, one after you exit the elevator on a mission and one after every fight you rarely get into any trouble, the only problem if someimes your sucked in too much to remember.

I'm loving mass effect, sure some of the game is really buggy but i'm really into it. I'm on my 4th time through now. my favorite guy is the turian.

Definitely is buggy as hell, I am fighting the boss on noveria and my guy has turned into stretch armstrong shepard.

It's mental, it's like having the ultimate cover system ever!!!11

needless to say this put me back AGES as it didn't "autosave"

                            IDIOTS! Bioware lick testicles.

You know, in 45+ hours I was lucky enough to never once have any bug problems, the only thing I saw was the obvious occasional tearing and texture pop in whenever I loaded from a save or during cut scenes.
