Dirt (also from Codemasters) was region free so I imagine this will be too. I went with the Asian version though, only ?22 or so from Playasia although it's not out til next week.

I got the PS3 version today, and from what ive played so far 15 mins, there no difference between this and the 360 version, its alot smoother than the demo thats for sure , so for people who cant decide both seem pretty much identical .

Gutted to read this. I chose the 360 version due to the demo performance, and now all I am getting is constant screen pauses during racing, sometimes up to a full second pause. Rubbish. This will have to be shelved until its patched then (if at all)

This is brilliant, my shopto order arrived today (PS3 version) and just spent the last 4 hours playing - what a game! Beats the pants of GT5 Pro. and Forza in terms of shear fun to be had... also, the slow-mo replay feature is a stroke of pure genius! I've probably spent half the time re-watching my replays in super slow mo =)

Tried the PC demo yesterday - surprisingly good fun and it has a preset for the 360 controller I use, so I was able to avoid configuring controls completely. Graphically very nice too. Have to say I'm not a fan of the bog standard touring car stuff mind, but the drift and muscle modes are great - that San Francisco track got played over and over

I took a couple of decent screenshots, will have to dig them out and link them a bit later.

No, it looks pretty much identical; that is to say, it looks absolutely outstanding. This is the best looking thing on PS3 yet, I don't care what anybody says.

Shopto delivered this today for 360.
What a driving game.One of the better ones I have played in ages.The ai is spot on as well.Was doing one race ,putting the pressure on for first.Could not pass him for a lap and a half then he spun out on a corner.Great stuff.
Like the way its all presented as well with 3D logos .The flashback feature works well as well.

BUT saying all that I am getting the odd pauses when racing on certain tracks.The game just stops for a split second.Also on replays it can be a bit stuttering shame as they are very dramatic.

Was there a lead platform for this.As DIRT was meant to look better on the PS3.

Are any PS3 players getting random screen pauses?
