Thats strange as I declined it by mistake too and went straight back in and playing online okay!

I'm using D-pad for doing barrell rolls by the way, didn't even trying using the analog, just instinctively went for the d-pad somehow but of course steer with the analog!

Stick for me. I can't use two control systems at once in such a fast-paced game and the D-pad feels hopeless for steering.

Feels weird to see trophy whoring on my second ever PSN game... ended up helping this guy to get Endurance (finish a 12-race tournament). Partly for the practice, since he was far better than me. Still, it was neat getting a preview of the tracks I haven't seen. The course hanging in mid-air looks astounding. O_o Surprisingly easy, too; he only got me on the final lap.

Okay so I think I've just melted my eyes out completely now. And my ears. I LOVE THIS GAME!!

Still loving the game, and playing online, though I wish Sony would just swallow their pride and copy XBox Live's features wholesale.

Is this going to come to the Japanese PSN as well? Chances are everyone will have stopped playing it by the time it does (maybe 2 weeks from now, lol)

Got it and played a lot with it.
Never played a Wipeout before (just ten minutes with Fusion, bought used years ago and then forgotten) and it took some time to get accostumed to the game's physic engine and controls.

I probably set with the Piranha, although I'd like to try Auricom once unlocked...as I'm having huge problems with the Climbs and still bouncing along some Chengdou Project walls, this will take a lot of time.

My only gripe is that there aren't many tournaments in the first sections, I'd have liked more of them.

I'm using the Assegai and have been from the start. In one race last night with 7 of us, I was using that and everyone else was using various others. I was winning race after race and slowly everyone started to change and by the time ezee joined in the races, everyone was using Assegai! Was quite funny.

I think I'm pretty good at this game considering I've hardly put any time into a Wipeout game before. I got 7th in the world on a speed lap last night on Metropian or whatever that track is called on Flash speed. Thought that was pretty good!

But then again some corners on some courses I just can't get right. For example, the Chengoa Climb or whatever that was is called has 3 or 4 big right turn hairpins that I just can't get right half the time. Especially the final corner before the finish line, always balls it up and lose a place or two sometimes because of it just as the race is finishing. I just can't find the right line or braking point or where to use air brakes.

I'll get it though as some tracks just click and you learn the corners very fast, and the Metropian one is like that for me, also the one with the huge magnetic track part that swirls round in loop de loops and then another hilly magnetic strip after that at the end of the track. I'm pretty good at that one.

A friend of mine (well know in a newsgroup for being an avid racing fan) is using the Assegai too, I don't remember why I skipped it but probably is because I didn't like how it looked like

We all just assumed it was the best vehicle to use because Rossco kept winning using it. And he's usually ****.

The PS analogue has never been that great for racing games IMO, I usualy end up wobbling all over the place if i try to use the stick.

Best thing I've played in ages frankly.

Can anybody tell me if it's account locked? My dad has it, and I know his log-in details so I could D/L it onto my own XMB without him even knowing. I don't however want to have a copy of his profile sitting on my XMB just to play it, so I'm wondering if I can delete his profile once I've got it, and then launch it with any of my own accounts.
