Have you tried? I haven't myself, I just read about it.

Unless it is online?!
Now that more people are online now the game is starting to lag more, not as bad as 2008 but getting there. Had a few occassions now where the teleporting thing came back and I am starting to get annoyed by the button press lag. The super players are just too overpowered as usual, it is almost impossible to defend against them online when you take into account the lag and stuff.

Just hit the training mode after watching that skills vid & manged to pull them all off without too much difficulty (may be a different story in a match though!). Loving having the skills integrated into the actual control scheme now instead of assigned to the right stick, feels a lot more intuitive & my feras of them being accidentally pulled off by mistake during a game have been allayed - they are extremely well integrated.
Really loving this, just feels so slick to control now after the clunkiness of the last couple of HD era editions.

I tried the trick combos. I could do the Flip-Flap into Marsielle Roulette, but I couldn't link the drag back into the flick/chip ball
Some of the stadium lightings are beautiful.
Been playing my mate online this evening and we had many lagless games. I guess when I go roaming the lobbies for ranked matches though, I'll meet some lag.Last edited by hudson; 16-10-2008, 20:45.

Power gauge.
Edge of box = just under half way.
25-30 metres = halfway.
More than above = just over halfway.
For a power shot, hold up on dpad.
For a weak shot, hold down on dpad (good for over walls at close range - better if small man in wall).
When using the above methods, mix with these button presses.
For super power driven shot, hold up on dpad, press shoot and when power gauge appears or is at the right amount you need, quickly tap Triangle/Y.
To add dip, press X/A button when gauge appears. This is more effective during weak shot technique.
My favourite freekick technique is the low driven shot which can sneak its way under jumping walls! Hold down on dpad and shoot using Circle/B button. This is also good on corners.
You can add bend by holding left or right on dpad.
When you have a second player over the ball on a free kick, you can surprise (well not really) your opponent by having the player stood over the ball take a standing shot by holding L1/LB and shoot.
Try them out on training ground.
Best to always use players with good shooting accuracy, power and technique.Last edited by hudson; 16-10-2008, 21:26.
