Yeah, I kind of agree - or, maybe, that the game seems designed to be played with the cross-hair, meaning that the remote is just as good. It puts far less emphasis on survival than most light-gun games do, with far more importance accorded to precision shooting to maximize scores and get all the unlockables. I feel like the crosshair makes a lot of sense; it might be 'easy' to get through Story Mode just shooting for survival (though try doing it all on one continue for more of a challenge, shoot-em-up style), but it's definitely not easy to get 100% headshots, Goregasm at earliest point carried on to the finish, collect all objects and brains, etc etc. This is a light-gun shooter built for the environment of home gaming from start to finish, and I think the control methods available reflect that.

Yeah hopefuly the gun will show up tomorrow but part of me thinks i should actualy start a new game file when i use the gun as i think the experience will be so different that i need to play it both ways really.

Its hard trying to get a good combo going. If it wasn't for the constant stuttering, i would have huge combos...

No excuses man! Get those combos flowing regardless, we should start a scoring thread :-p

The game doesn't stutter that much, even in Director's Cut. With the shotguns or the handcannon getting goregasm is quite easy, doing it with automatic weapons is much harder.

It happens alot for me. I really notice it, maybe its just me.

Yeah, it's a real tradeoff; the Assault Rifle is a great survival tool but crap for combos due to the high chance of putting a round somewhere a zombie isn't. If there were some time-based achievements, it'd be ideal (as the game's very good about switching to the next little scene as soon as you killed all the zombies in the previous one).

Edit: I mean "Mutants". Sorry G

Anyone played it Gangsta style? You gain $1337 if you shoot mutants sideways. I'll try this later.

Does anyone know how to unlock dual wield in 1 player mode?

IIRC it's only available in Director's Cut once finished, it's on the chapters' right side, pretty hard to miss.

haha i did this just to unlock whatever the bonus was. not the most comfortable way to play.

I've done it on Papa's Palace of Pain on Story Mode, it was kind of a pain (literally), but much easier with the Wiimote alone. I hold it almost like I was throwing a dart, and use the on screen crosshair to aim. One hundred and eightyyy!
