Yeah, I kind of agree - or, maybe, that the game seems designed to be played with the cross-hair, meaning that the remote is just as good. It puts far less emphasis on survival than most light-gun games do, with far more importance accorded to precision shooting to maximize scores and get all the unlockables. I feel like the crosshair makes a lot of sense; it might be 'easy' to get through Story Mode just shooting for survival (though try doing it all on one continue for more of a challenge, shoot-em-up style), but it's definitely not easy to get 100% headshots, Goregasm at earliest point carried on to the finish, collect all objects and brains, etc etc. This is a light-gun shooter built for the environment of home gaming from start to finish, and I think the control methods available reflect that.
