Just done a pretty cool sidequest which was a nod to Kenzan

bumped into a film director who whats you to play a part in a kung fu film, the entire set is taken from an early setting in Kenzan, theres a film crew stood by and your fighting waves of enemies, after you beat each one, your get given a choice lines to say but if you balls it up the Director gets pissed off and you have to start again from that scene

I got my order in the other day as I loved the first two on PS2. Glad to hear that this seems to be more of the same which I'm fine with really.

I'd buy it in a bloody shot if it was in english. It's one of my most wanted games ever but I love the story in the Yakuza games and I just can't get myself to play it in japanese and needing help etc. Believe me it hurts like a bitch not playing it right now but I must persevere!

I have heard Sega will be releasing that alongside Shenmue 3

Translating Kenzan would probably be more work than Ryu Ga Gotoku 3, theres actually parts of that game where certain words are even translated for the Japanese because a lot of them are no longer in everyday use.

I'd like to see this and Kenzan packaged together if it ever did happen though.

Just discovered my first revelation move as the first one I did the game actually pointed it out to me, in Kenzan the revelation moves were just triggered events as long as you were in the right place at the right time, this one you really have to keep your eye out for things happening so you can point your camera phone at it, spotted a

boy trying to pull his dad into a shop, aimed the camera at them and it started a revelation, his Dads refusing to take him in the shop, so the son kicks him in the shins, his dad falls over then his son starts dragging him in the shop, so Kazuma copys the move.

I'm sure I've missed loads of these, definately adds to the replayabilty if you want to get them all.

some man trying to beat a woman in the street, you step in to help by beating the **** out of him, then you realise the woman wearing the dress is a bit too well built to be a woman, by that point though she/he loves you, cue a mini game where you have to leg it to get away with him in chase.

Nearing the end of the game now as well, won't spoil the story too much but the the scenes leading up to and after the bit where you have a

Bull Fight

are brilliant, really sets up the final part of the game for a bit of revenge.

First DLC went up yesterday nothing too special, few items to equip for recovering health and heat energy and the ability to play pool and darts 2 player from the extras menu, looking forward more to the extra costumes.

Sales of the game seem to have been pretty successful in Japan as well, 372000 copies sold in the first week which also put the PS3 on top in hardware sales.

Completed this on Friday, excellent from start to finish, won't spoil the ending but the final stage was great, there was also quite a bit of spoken english by one of the bad guys which was a surprise after listening to Japanese for 99&#37; of the game.

Managed to complete it in just over 24hrs with a rank F, although I did nowhere near enough of the sidequests, bounty hunting or Hostess bar stuff, just unlocked premium mode now so I can start a new game with Kazuma levelled up, going to play through that next and try to 100% it.

I also realised after completing this that I'd hadn't really ever gotten stuck, every other game in the series that I've played in Japanese had at least one point where I had no clue what to do next even after trying everything and had to use a guide, so was nice to go through this one with no real issues.
