Resident Evil 5 (PS3 / Xbox 360)

Both are region 2 Japanese discs. The saves are crossed now. What you do one one is matched on the other, but I deffo lost everything. I only play games on my UK account, so there was no confusion there. I really don't know what happened, but I'm loathe to play it for another 9 months to unlock everything again. I'd really appreciate some save data if you can sort it out.

I have a question mate I`m not sure if the completion/unlock data e.g. Mercinaries/Desperate Escape is in the save or not or in the game data do you know or anyone else?

I have finished the game its at chapter 1-1 hard on my alternative edition save and I guess all the chapters are available. I also have noticed just now I have a save for 6-1 from Biohazard 5 normal. Can`t copy the game data 5 gb else I would, it won `t let me . Will send you the save data I can try to e-mail it to you too mate if that`s poss? Please give me yr address and e-mail.

If I can`t send the data via e-mail, I`ll post you a memory stick. Will have to wait until 25th if you can wait will send it via Japanese super post speed you would get it in about two days I think.

MODS I hope this is k to mention the above things I don`t think I`m breaking any rules.

There is a retail disc available for PS3, which has all the content already on it. You only need D/L if you have the regular Biohazard 5.

Will send you the save data I can try to e-mail it to you too mate if that`s poss?

It was I think but they prob had to unlock it for the 2.0 update. Lockin save data is the worst idea ever. Bayonetta take note.

Managed to put FFXIII aside for some Biohazard. Finally completed this single player again, was worse than I remembered. Even worse. Its just... so many cheap deaths due to AI. That should never been made possible. In Gears of War, the AI hardly ever annoyed me because he auto-revives. This game suffers thanks to its co-op addition, that includes the co-op friendly but straightforward level design and set up as well.

But I enjoyed the final battles, and finished it different this time. Basically did the health consuming QTE which was cool.

The unlockables are worth it, aside from the 2 episodes, Mercenaries Reunion is pretty cool as well.

Started playing Resi5 for the first time over the weekend.. Seems quite fun, graphics are lovely in places aren't they..

Bought Gold Esition today from work and it's all gone weird.

Save system is terrible in this. I was halfway through a chapter, solo. It had saved checkpoint etc. Played some co-op with a mate (starting from beginning again), last night went to play and I've got to start the whole chapter over again. WTF!?

Nothing wrong with the save system at all. It saves entire chapters at a time. Checkpoints are lost if you exit out of a stage. You only get one save file regardless of if you play online or not. If it was different you'd have one save for solo and one for online. This way it allows anybody to play with anybody else regardless of how far they have got in the game. If you co-op'd with me I could give you any gun in the game you wanted and play on any stage. You couldn't do that in solo as you haven't got that far.

Its just the campaign thats terrible, although Co-op saves it a bit. Its the DLC and Mercs thats brilliant.

The campaign always holds back, its lame with some incredibly stupid scenes (the tomb raider ish light puzzle). But I've co-opped Desperate Escape on Veteran and that was true survival at times, hard as nails. I'm looking forward to Professional.
