Just spent an hour or two with this after finally getting my red ringed 360 replaced.
What IS all this future crap that's in the way of a perfectly acceptable story? So far it seems like an elaborate cover for a ton of videogame conventions.
It looks amazing, but so far that's it for me. Even the movement feels too automatic, and lacks the satisfaction of Prince of Persia's.

Finished this the other night and really enjoyed, going back to mop up on some achievements.
Classic mad flag hunt like crackdown, ONE left in one area, and just couldn't find it, used a guide, and it's not in any of the places they say, so cheers Ubi, glitch means the only way I can get my achievement is start all over again - which then means doing EVERYTHING again to get a 100% completion. Now I know why I hate flag/orb/secret package hunting
Some say on boards you shouldn't collect any flags during mission incase they don't register, which kind of defeats the object because you usually collect them as you see them! GRRRR!!!

Automatic GOTY... fighting guards using the short blade / throwing knives and am surrounded by 3 guards (Now this wasn't entirely deliberate but I am taking full credit for it)... altair counters first guy facing him DEAD, instantly spins to throw a knife at second guy DEAD, then counters the third again with the short BLADE, all in the one fluid motion... I let out a yelp!! The second guy must have been just out of range of melee attack so he got a knife in the breast plate.
I have been playing this for 15+ hours and dont want it to end. 15 hours in and still the fluidity of the combat blows me away... as I said GOTY moments aplenty. It can repeat missions all it wants if you ask me, when the enviornment is this impressive and the animation is on this form it doesn't really matter!!
Quick question also... how do you bring up the guard location info during a hit after you acquire it? I have dont 6 assassinations but aint ever had to use it but would like to see how it works.

It seems many are 1 flag short (myself included) - I have a theory it's up on top of the creed building but I'll be ****ed if I can find a way to scale it - there's a haybale at the bottom though (just to the left as you come out the door) which is what has convinced me there must be a way up.......

Yep got all them too. You just know it's going to be one that's out in the open. A guide wouldn't even help, as they're all like, flag number x is behind the house with the square roof. Or by the two peasants on the bench.
Cheers for that.
