Finally got my Blue Kelbi Horns. Took forever, the mobs never once dropped them. Only aquired them doing the kelbi misson repeatedly as a reward offline, didn't get them online.

Shame they arent bringing this to any other console, always been curious about Monster Hunter.

It's already on PSP, PS2, PC and coming to Xbox 360. I'm sure the PS3 will see one in a year or so. The DS won't, but the 3DS might.

I assumed he meant this specific game.

3rd on the PSP will have many elements from Tri, but will be another game in it's own right.

Guess I should have been more specific, I meant this particular game on 360/PS3. I might have to look up the PC one if its in English.

I ended up buying the UK copy in the end (well, ordered both but will be selling the US copy shortly when it arrives.)

Works perfectly using homebrew on a US Wii. Looks lovely too (althougha bit grainy).

Can't wait to get online with it!

the fmv has film effect, if thats what you mean by grainy. As for the game itself, all 3d games on the wii look like that to me with these kind of visuals.

Anyone got any tips to capturing the Great Jaggi. He always runs off when hes limping. ><

You dont have to get it as its limping.

Basicaly just make it limp away and then follow it to the next screen, attack it a bit more then lay a trap, as it runs towards you it will get stuck and then pummel it with tranquiliser bombs, you will capture it. It dosent have to be limping as you capture it, just weak.

You dont even have to do all that really though, I captured one earlier without even making it limp away first.

Its not half as hard as the game makes it sound.

EDIT: rmoxon beat me to it

Alternatively, paintball the monster during the fight and then when it limps off wait until it reaches an area on the map where it stops moving.

When creatures first limp away they will usually head somewhere to sleep and recover. Great Jaggi for instance, usually heads to area 6 in the Moga Forest to sleep. But if you interrupt a monster by getting to the next area ahead of it, it will start to fight again for a while instead of running away.

Captured my first Great Jaggi last night. My first attempt ended in comedy style when all 3 of my tranq bombs went whizzing over its head. Ace fun though, love the frantic struggles to get to a decent spot to use items, and landing a swing of the hammer to the Great Jaggi's chops and sending it spinning is dead satisfying.

Sorted myself out with a USB keyboard. Cheers for the advice folks.

Finally did some quests online and didn't get a 100 year ban from Capcom! \o/
Hope someone else with the US version is online for the Weds static.
