Downloaded the demo yesterday. I still play 2009 every day at work and I absolutely love this 2010 demo. Can't wait for the retail version.

I was shocked and appalled at how bad this game is. The screenshots showed promise, as the lighting and some of the likenesses are spot on, but to play... wow ... just, wow, it's so bad it's unreal. How the mighty have fallen. I switched to FIFA 09 laster year, and I'll be sticking with the series this year.

Well I love it, improves on PES09 (which is still play every week with friends) in practically every way, especially regarding passing which I found to be wayward way too frequently in 09. All that lets it down are the slightly unresponsive passing at times and the keepers which are a little too soft but they said on PESfan.com that they have been improving improving them since the GDC demo last month so fingers crossed...
Looks really nice too, loving the lighting.
Can't wait for this and FIFA10 next month - yes it is possible to like them
both!

Downloaded the PS3 demo this afternoon. Just played few games. Won them all at least 2-0, it's way, way to easy to win. The cpu doesn't seem to bother to even slide tackle, let alone tackle much at all. Passing is fast, but to square. Through passes haven't changed for years, they're to ridgid. Shooting is the best thing in there. The formations the teams take on the pitch are way to flat and square. There's no real good runs, it's too easy to run into your own player wanting him to make a run. The menus and such the usual. Also, it is funny the to Alonso in there, what with Liverpool being licensed in this ? With Ibrahimovic in for Barcelona, i guess they're correct it in the full version !?
For me it's Fifa this year, like last. Last year i bought PES, played it for a day, thought it was really lacking. A friend brought round Fifa, i'd never played, thought it felt different, but good. I picked a copy. Played it ever since. I prefer the physicality of it now, to PES. Seems the endless days of playing PES are over. Until they trash the code completely and start afresh. PES has been the biggest casualty of the next-gen leap...

I only play SNES, MD, DC, PS1 and PS2 normally. I only jsut purchased a 360 to play FF13 and Fifa 10 online with my mates. I also have no interest in Blu-ray. For me its not the step up from DVD like DVD was from VHS.

Been playing this to death over the last 2 days.
Playing on PC as I refuse to use 360 pads for PES - PS2 pads will always be the winner.
Also makes it a hell of a lot easier for custom patches etc on the PC. It was fine on the PS2 and my XBOX (my PES console of choice in the past) but not on 360 or PS3.
So far, totally loving the demo. Obviously helps that Liverpool are in it. Graphics are amazing, best in PES yet. The player likeness are totally and utterly superb, much better than any other game has ever produced.
My main gripe with the demo is:
It's wayto easy (hardest setting), I know I've been playing PES forever but each new game usually gives me a bit of challege for a while.
Can't choose my camera...that's only the demo though.
Spreading the play now seems to kick the ball forward slightly instead of just straight across the the opposite side of the pitch, anyone noticed this?
Overall, very pleased. Hoping online will be ok, PES has obviously got a very poor track record of working online right out of the box.

I've been playing the PC demo too and for some weird reason I am enjoying it more than the console versions. I still think FIFA 10 is the better game but like I have said before, if the online is full functional then I will probably pick this up too. Oh and the visuals are very impressive on the PC version, player likenesses are amazing.
