Just finished on Normal. Certainly got better the further in I got. Once I'd got past the bit that I posted about earlier in the thread the rest of it kind of fell away.
Overall, fantastic but I feel that it overstretched itself at times a little and the slowdown (360 version) made it difficult sometimes. The screen tearing got horrendous at times too.
I will most certainly picking up the soundtrack when I'm in Tokyo. That was amazing!
A good start to the year for me. First game bought, first game finished!

Yeah, it's a good soundtrack and unusually varied. It's shocking though that a game with such beautiful and distinctive orchestral scores also lays host to an ear-achingly bad rendition of 'Fly Me To The Moon'. Seriously, it's a crime what they've done to that track, they've taken something elegant and beautiful and raped it.

Finished it today, cleaned up some minor collectables, but I daren't venture into hard mode. Normal had me using several continues per chapter as it was.

I find the automatic combos of the doll actually make the game more difficult.

Just bought this, dunno what im doing half the time, but its fun. I must admit, when I first started playing it I thought it was pretty ropey graphically. The music is kind of a love hate thing, some of its good, some of it is horrible.
Im ok at dodging the obvious attacks, but struggle in knowing when to dodge some of the boss attacks..is there any way of knowing when they might attack with out just dodging all the time?
Also, I just randomly bought some contume from the shop, but cant see where to equip it....

I've been picking at this one or two stages at a time so I'm only up to Chapter VI but it's incredibly likeable. There always seems to be something new being thrown out and a lot of room for improvement. To be safe I started it on Easy which seems to be a cakewalk so far. Didn't feel I was gettng better at it but must sub-consciously be improving as I'm getting more Platinum medals as I go along. I don't know if I'll want to replay it but so far, so good.

Spoilerific post ahead relating to a certain item that unlocks when you accumulate a ridiculous amount of Halos....
The
Platinum Ticket
became available for me to buy yesterday for a whopping price of
999999 Halos
.
Not too bad considering i've been rinsing out
lost chapter and gaze of despair.
Buying the ticket will put you in a boss fight against Father Rodin...
Rodin turns angelic! The game locks itself to Infinite Climax difficulty and NO ITEMS ARE ALLOWED! It's absolutely stupid!
When defeated, IF you can defeat him, you get the Rodin special weapon to use.
