The whores are pretty much avoiding me. Perhaps I need a new suit.

How does MP stack up online? Particularly the team based stuff?

For me that was the downfall of GTAIV as it's controls were too inaccurate to allow any sort of precise MP compared to other more specialised games. It ended up being fun but hardly competitive.

Im just wondering if the dead-eye control, no auto-aim and such really allow this to shine and become both a great SP experience and a MP one?

I was a bit confused by the MP - sometime it locked on and sometimes it didn't.... I was certainly pretty bad at it compared to most.

Are you guys using headsets....if its best (as I fancy playing this MP) may I ask for a headset option on the PS3 please..

Just..I don't play FPS that much online..Im a SP weirdo...only LBP and street fighter and I get by with typing..

But when you're in a outlaw posse 'how cool' I'm guessing a headset would be benificial for all.

            Great impressions..

I'm exactly the same. Never play online but I got a headset for me and a friend (whos the same) to play this in co op. On play they have a giotech bundle for ?15 including the real triggers and a HDMI lead (the headset that comes with it is ?18 alone so may as well!)

Quick and possibly stupid question that I need answered asap please if someone could be so kind.

I've got a chance of getting the US version today (PS3), there's no silly repercutions to this is there? Online is worldwide etc so I can play with all my UK mates with their UK copies on Friday?

I'd recommend either going for the official wireless headset (has an HQ mode, on screen display for battery/volume) or the Playstation Eye which has an inbuilt mic, both have excellent sound quality. A lot of people seem to be using standard mobile phone bluetooth headsets, problem is it sounds like their underwater half the time.

The 360 is meant to be better visually, but then suffers from texture pop-in and frame-rate drops occassionally. It looks amazing anyway, so if the PS3 is only 98% as good, then it will still look amazing.

Biggest differences appear to be the missing foliage on the PS3 version and it also looking a touch blurrier, due to the lower res i'm guessing.
                      Certainly no Bayonetta job though

Hmm. That in-game stuff (see the shots with maps bottom left) is noticeably worse on the PS3 - in motion I guess it won't matter so much, but when there's stuff just not there at all like the grass.... but then perhaps the PS3 doesn't have the frame-rate drops. Screenshots just aren't a good way of comparing a moving medium.

By the way, be VERY careful about what you click on when you search for "red dead redemption review" - there are 3 pages of links on google on suspect sounding sites with suspect looking links to "omg you have viruses, pay now for our virus guard" sites.

If you could see my fist you would notice that it was shaking at you. That is all.
