I'm level 39 on B-spec now, should hit level 40 in a day or so, then I can do the last endurance race and get 2 hopefully decent cars for my trouble... My top Bob is class 40 now and can't go any higher and I've got 3 others all on class 38 I think.

Dunno, and yes, unless you're close to getting a Red Bull X1/X2010. I paid nearer 5m though, best to have that much money ready.

think you get a nascar for golding all the special events, i just bought one though (for that seasonal mainly).
formula gt, you will need eventually in extreme class, i wouldnt bother buying one till then though.

wow, is there anything left to do if you got this far and do you have any idea how many hours you have invested already?

If you can complete the NASCAR training to (I think) Gold standard you get a free NASCAR car. You will need to get the Formula GT at some stage. Best to wait until you are reasonably high level so you can get money relatively quickly.

Having said that there is plenty of money for the Seasonal Events which are now somewhat easier as there is no limit to what you can do with the cars so you can make the races as easy ot hard as you like.

I was eventually just going for Racing Soft tyres, but the RX-7 Tsukuba race proved tricky so I got the ECU, Racing Instake and Sports Cat and won easily. The NASCAR race at the 'Ring on the other hand was a little outside my comfort zone so I resorted to the Stability Management as well and won even though I crashed approaching the finish line.

Complete those 6 Seasonal Races and you will have more than enough for the FGT.

              That's a big IF. I can't even complete them to a bronze standard ><

That 2-laps of Daytona at the end of the advanced stages is impossible. I'm flat out all the way round and I can still only get past the 11th placed guy, who then steams past me at the first turn following my passing him.

Any tips? I know I should slipstream them but after the first turn I've fallen too far behind the pack to do that.

EDIT - never mind, say a youtube tip about turning ABS from default 1 to off, which I did and finished in 1st position O_o

(the odd thing being, why would anti-lock brakes be slowing me down when I never stepped on the brake pedal once?)

Nascar training is quite easy once you realise you actually need to go without any assist. Its really not hard to do, even with DS3. One was difficult and thats the pit-stop exiting. You need to leave the pit with the 2 and 3rd (and 4th maybe) car still within slip stream reach. The rest should take no more than a few tries.

But without walking that route, the new seasonal events are piss easy too. I did the C4 and Ford GT with unmodified vehicles and I forgot to put assists back on, and won them with a big margin. Thats like 2.5 mil worth of cash within 10 minutes. And as if it weren't enough, the Escudo popped up so I spent the money right away. Wish it was a premium.

Also did the Prius event, not difficult as well.

Now have just under 20 million in the kitty so I am waiting on a few cars so that I can spend some of it. May go the backup restore route and buy the two Ferrari F1's though I am not too bothered by the more expesive Premiums because they are always accessible unlike used LM cars.

There's still some stuff, my Bob struggled with the close championships where you can't overpower them, I'm on 93% at the moment, there's still a few bits in A-spec and the special events, but nothing I can be bothered with!

I think I've done 66,000 miles, but most of that will have been in B-spec. No idea about time.

I can see some of the B spec races being on old for the forseeable future due to my Lv 19 Bob's lack of speed.

If anyone wants a Chrome Paint Chip to try out (don't forget you can Quit the game before pressing any buttons after painting a car to claim back you Chip), which I hasten to add will be duplicated even though I will probably never use one, I have one free Item send slot available this side of the early hours so please form an orderly queue!!!

just in case you don't know what to do with your wealth i'd suggest you buy a decent F1 car and make it a gift to me!

Bassman, can you reveal your trick to using Gift Certificates over and over until you get the car you want? I used one last night and didn't see any point where it would have been safe to reset the PS3, and the game saves before it even reveals which car you got :/
