I did the Bonus race set and the UCD did advance, as far as I know.

With this Borrow option available I only ever need to set up cars for the Bonus Races on my main account and share them to use on my other accounts I choose to do them on. That way I get maximum benefit from the cash rewards.

I did a trade with someone yesterday who wanted a 0 mile 370Z Tuned GT Academy Version. FIrst ever trade at GTP (and last as I normally just send stuff or whatever with people on my Friends List). I thought I had missed but had a Friend Request waiting. I now have a shiny new (duplicated I presume) Carbon X2010 Prototype. I just need to get it to my other main accounts to be on the safe side! Same with the 370Z I suppose (but further examples are a little easier to get hold of!). Now if I can get B spec to Lv 35 I get the final variant with 0 miles on it.

I am still trying to get a GT Academy GT-R. Not sure what level it is, but a Level 12 will provide a new standard spec V, so I am hopeful!

THen something scewy happened in my game, I did the RX7 bonus race and as usual went into the UCD aftewards to see what new items had arrved, and there were none. None of the cars had JUST IN next to them.

I heard all about Justin and the UCD at GTP! The EU version of the game just says "NEW"!

I'm never entirely sure what moves the UCD a day as I have done Endurance Races and it appears to have advanced more than a day.

I now have 5 (of my 6) Shared for Online cars set to five that are suitable for the new Bonus Races, if anyone can't be bothered to spend money buying cars for them.

If you want more of a challenge you can use the Power Limiter (under Engine) to reduce the HP by up to 50%. I think you can also swap to default tyres for even more of a Challenge (now possible in settings).

I used my main account Nissan March on the account I used to get the Lv 12 Ticket the other day. The mileage I did was not there when I checked back on my main account so whatever is done to the car when someone else uses it is not reflected back in your garage. Nice cheap way to make Money off Bonus Races!

I played quite a bit online today, the tick in the OUCD is brilliant to show what you own. As is the being able to pick from your Premium and Standard garage online. It was hard for me to find races where people were not using F1 cars or lots of Touring cars today. People have a habit of turning off all assists, which while good is very hard for me personally to control (maybe I need to practice). Had one fun race in my race modded NSX, I got hammered though as the other peeps were excellent without assists. The Performance point thing works a bit. But people keep picking the Touring cars as mentioned above. Although it seemed to allow a bit more flexability in what cars people will pick. When I have time I should create my own online races with just Ferraris.

I think for the size of the upgrade they have done a superb job.

I set five cars that will do all the latest Bonus Races as shared online now. I used them to do the races on another account and was able to pocket the full 2.5 credits (or thereabouts). Makes it so much easier having the cars there ready to use in the Profile of my main account.

The Performance Points are OK up to a point, A powerful car with low PP (or a Racing car as you found) is going to easily beat a more normal car. if the car is a suitably detuned Supercar (to reach the PP) you again stand no chance.

The Ticks being in all the dealerships does make it so much easier.

I have yet to try one of my new online enabled tracks with others. Maybe sometime!

The inevitable PS3 buffer issues...

They have been busy with the game in the latest update. I read that the AI had been adjusted to make them less inclined to collide with you when you are on their line so thought I would try to do the last three test of the S License.

First corner there was the inevitable contact with another car on test 8 at Suzuka. I was waiting for the dreaded Disqualified screen and it never appeared. This piqued my curiosity somewhat but I wasn't going to take any chances and took care for the rest of the race forcing my way into 3rd for the finish (Bronze).

Test 9 I got more "creative" and was not beyond trying to persuade the other cars to get out of the way. Going off track gets you disqualified but that is now the only way that way. Contact is no longer a bad thing. I Gold-ed that test and also Test 10 with "subtle" hints for other cars to move aside. I am now going to go back and see if I can Gold the first 8 tests!

Also looks as if there may be more colours in the UCD - TBC!

I borrowed your scooby-doo for the Nurburgring bonus race, cheers mate! Do I have to do anything to 'give it back' though? I guess not...

Any word on whether it affects your cars mileage and so on?

licenses are definitely easier now, due to this.
i was doing IA-10 the other day, and thought with a bit of practice i could get silver (3rd), but 1st was miles ahead.
just gone back now, and got 2nd on my first attempt, and golded it on the second attempt.
i spent bloody ages on it just a few days ago too

Whatever you do with a Borrowed car does not affect the owners orginal. Swap to another car in your Garage and it disappears (so to speak).

I will change the cars when there is a new set of Seasonal Bonus Races.

Still having problems with Trial Mountain and Tokyo tests on the S Licens. I managed a silver at Trial Mountain. Golded the other 8 tests now though.

I now have the GT Academy Tuned 370Z in three colours... Blade SIlver Metallic. Titalnium Grey Metallic and Vibrant Red. I also have a Titanium Gray I will substitute for the 350Z I currently have Shared for Online if anyone wants to try it. I'll fit a selection of tyres.

Found an interesting discrepancy in the totally revamped UCD (new colours and new mileages). There was an '03 S2000 (EU) in Ascari Red Pearl. Thing is it was painted Isis (or whatever) Red Pearl, the Metallic Pink the Honda Fit used to appear in. Needless to say I had to buy it to check whether sending one to another account reverts it to its proper colour. It didn't. Rare car!!!

I presume that at some point PD will correct that S2000 provided they know about it. I will be keeping a close watch on the UCD to see if there are any other colour mistakes. The car doesn't look bad in Pink... provided that is your thing!!

Looks like I need to revist the other licenses to see what I can now Gold.

Needless to say the Elise Challenge is as bad as ever.

Tried the Suzuka Ferrari F1 race. Managed to have some excursions but took the lead. Unfortunately I managed to spin out badly at the end of Lap 9 so abandoned it. The other cars mostly managed to hit me. So much for the improved AI!

trial mountain is the only S license i dont have gold on now. silver is doable, but i cant match the demo replay at all... i have no idea how it manages to get past the ferrari 512 on the first real corner.

only have one bronze left now, IC-3 i think.

I watched that demo and thought there is no way I can do that. Must have used a Manual box or something. The car was a lot more twitchy than that.

After finding the increase in Experience on the Extreme Euro Rome Race, I decided to try the Indy 500 which formerly gave about 250K Experience. I thought maybe 500K was on the cards. When the race finished after 2 hours 15 minutes (X2010) I was awarded just over 750K Experience. PD certainly delivered on that Experience increase.

I tried to do that remote racing thing while I was at work. I set and left my PS3 on and went to work, managed to log in via the GT website, but it turns out you can only use remote B Spec vs other people, and not grind races! What a waste of time.
