        The unlock is pretty damn awesome and hilarious too.

        basically its a giant foam finger, you know the ones mostly usa sports fans have, when aim and fire Isaac say bang bang and secondary fire is pew pew pew

            Just finished dead space 2, awesome game lovely sci-fi action with a nice bit of drama thrown in - only "issue" was the horrible end boss, but was ok due to the end sequence being fantastic !

              With New Vegas finally done this is up next. Really enjoying it (upto Ch5) and it's got that little bit more polish than the first. Only downers so far are it's not remotely scary anymore likely due to familiarity and, though great, DS1's opening was better than this ones.

                It actualy gets even better from chapter 6 onwards I thought, some of the setpecies you have coming up are really impressive.

                Shame about the last chapter though.

                  Multiplayer in this has been underrated in reviews ihmo. It's great fun. Running up walls and ceilings as a lurker, firing off poison darts, while marines panic like keystone cops below, is an awesome laugh.

                    Just finished it. Good game, not as scary as I'd like but still good.

                    Final run was weak (invincible enemies suck, even more so when it isn't made obvious and you waste insane amounts of ammo on them) and the last boss underwhelming and easy.

                    Also weren't really all that many bosses which was surprising, only really 2 real boss encounters, the rest were just a specific type of strong enemy.

                    Two big improvements over the first game:

                    -Locations. Although it does have a handful of boring 'industrial' locations, for the most part the locations are creative and varied.

                    -enemy variety. Still probably limited to under 10 enemy types but you can't go through the whole game with the cutter anymore.

                      I'd say this was weaker than DS1 for location. DS1 presented a believable structured design of a ship that was memorable. DS2 tries to get its Bioshock on too hard meaning it lacks the structure and memorable characters of the first Ch4-8 repeated whole areas which I found disappointing. Rather hypothetically on that note Ch10 is awesome

                        The original was broke up by "levels" that were separated by traveling on the tram this actualy felt more cohesive than the first game to me as it was one environment rather than levels.

                        Also no areas are repeated and there is far less back tracking than in the first game so I don't know why you think the opposite really.

                          Upto Ch13 now and really into it, it's got a real momentum going

                          It's certainly not the improvement over DS1 that Uncharted 2 was to the original but then the mechanics were more solid in DS1 than UC1's were and I'd be happy to play through Dead Space 3 if it was just 'more of the same'

                            just started this earlier tonight and i must say it ticks all the right boxes except one.........its a bloody fantastic game with excellent audio and video but it just doesnt seem to have that sense of dread that ds1 had.

                                If you use one of the stronger weapons like the Seeker Rifle or the Contact Beam then all you have to do is stand still and shoot and its dead in about 10 seconds.



                                Yeah its still absolubte rubbish, and the sequence feels tacked on, but Im just saying....
