Anyone had a problem with the L lock targeting not working?
It has happened twice to me now where I start the game and it doesn't work at all, then I just exit the game and start again and it is fine . Odd.

I haven't experienced that, but it sounds like the good old "Phatasy Star Online unable to lock on" glitch from using the Utopia boot disk.... you aren't using Freeloader are you?

Failing that, maybe your L is dodgy - too much Metroid Prime

Is it possible to get the Colour Camera in the normal game after obtaining the black and white camera?

You do get this Colour camera from the very beginning after you complete the game once, in the new file which opens. That is when you are able to start collecting the trophies in the shop near the Deku Island

Yes. I have no idea what whoever said the above was talking about.

Something I never understood in the JAP game was the small, metal round pieces of steel which pop up slightly later in the game after the scene with the pirates and bomb shop. Now it appears you place the items you get from the Eskimo dude on them... but the thing that puzzles me is the immense quantity of these. There are everywhere on Windmill Island and found on several other Island too. Do they have some sort of significance apart from looking cool? Anyone figure that out yet?

I'd bet my life on them having a purpose.

I am using my chipped JPN GC, so no Freeloader, and it wasn't my controller as it has happened on different controllers. It might just be one of those things.

I've had the L shoulder button not working too. Only once though - I reset the machine and it was fine. Not using freeloader either.

I think the size of this thread alone shows the sort of effect Wind Waker has on people. I simply cannot get it out of my head; I am associating almost everything with my Zelda experience?

Adam, bro, I think you need to put the controller down and step away from the game a bit. Seriously. I'm enjoying the game too, but your... enthusiasm is a bit over the top. Go grab some sunshine outside and remember that this is all just a game, man. You're worrying me.

Another fair point... Allow me to explain. There is a secrete store near Deku Island. This store is the very place where you are able to collect small trophies of every single character in the game, may there be bosses, tree people, boats, or even granny, every single character can be collected. The only problem is that you need the Colour camera. This you get when you complete the game once. I was wondering if it was possible to find it during the first time round, meaning obviously you can start collecting the trophy pieces before you finish the game.... Make sense? I jolly well hope so

Yeah, I knew what you were referring to. I meant that that about getting a colour camera when you complete it is nonsense. You get the colour camera by:

Doing the pictograph guy's three challenges. When you have completed them he talls you about a magic firefly. Go to the Deku tree, whip out a jar, take it back and give it to him.

Voila, colour camera.

Um.... You don't get the colour camera when you complete it in the US version are you saying? You do in the JAP so it seems strange that you dont in the US...

Well, I'm on the Wind Temple now coming upto the boss. Trying to make my first time through last. Done a few side quests, still got the camera one ot do though. 39hrs so far.
