don't know if this has been posted in another part of the board but i've just read about this project which is working on a work a round to use the broadband adapter a router and pc to play online . I have no love for IGN or their opinions. So it hurts to admit right now Im less than impressed with MKDD. It seems to me that a lot of people are being overly kind to the latest installment. A 7/10 is about as high as I'd go. Just opened the last cup. 'Dino Dino' is a cool course. reminds me of the flawed but great Diddy Kong Racing. Also reminds me that DKR is still better than MKDD - even with teh flaws.Comment

The whole thing feels closer to SMK/DKR than it does MK64, right down to the handling. No hub world though, and hugely inferior music to Rare's game as well.Originally posted by craptest
Having said that, the multi-player racing in MKDD!! is (unsurprisingly) infinitely superior to DKR's. Love the co-op Grand Prix and the capture the Shine battle mode too.Comment

Well i got it yesterday and all my excitment was well worth the wait! Its as fantastic as you all say and i had hoped! So far ive got gold on all cups up to 150cc special! Roll on tonite! Keeping the girlfriend happy to as she loves to fire off the weapons and shes quite good at it lol
evil women! All together great and worth waiting for, defo on for the collection!

I don't think the single player for DD is all that grand - certainly worth experiencing - but the multiplayer is just so fantastic. The whole game world is bursting with energy. With friends, it's impossible not to enjoy playing this game.Comment

Mario and Luigi's special is pretty deadly at times. It's hard to avoid those bastardly fireballs. Peach and Daisy's is pretty handy.
Wario and Waluigi's is just crap, though.

I really like playing as Waluigi, but that bomb special is rubbish. I always end up blowing myself up.
