Easy way to do the first boss.

There are gas canisters in the back right corner from where you start. Throw those at him and that'll stun him, then plow his face with revolver rounds or whatever high power weapons you're packing. There's also an explosive barrel you can throw in his general direction while he's stunned.

If you struggle on the first boss, you'll absolutely love the second...

That can be an easy way but I think it already depends on how you are spec'd and what difficulty you are playing. He destroys you very quickly with his weapon.

But yeah, you aren't wrong - the bosses are not the best part of the game, for sure.

Aren't most bosses just rubbish these days anyway? So old fashioned.

I can tell this is most likely a great game, but I just don't have the attention span/patience for it, I just want to blow **** up.

What augments are people running? Which are the most useful?

I'm still bulking up my hacking skills , but I've found the arm one that let's you move heavy items to be useful. You can move skips and boxes to let you get up onto things.

Any hacking tips? I tend to spam all the nodes I can as quick as I can. Is that the wrong way?

So far it has been on luck. But if you look next to the icons, they have a percentage saying whats the chance of getting detected.

Don't use the "Fortify" straight away. That helps you IF you get detected - it slows down the red defender. Go for the lowest level nodes, and progress to a point where you can attack the "goal". Then try getting the hidden items on the other nodes, knowing that if the alarm goes of you can quickly "endgame" it by attacking the final goal node.

If you have 4 attacks at a hack, use them. If you are detected on the first 3, just back out. On the fourth, let the alarm shut the system down, and wait for the 30 second cool down, then repeat. It's about trying to get a quick path to the goal, then trying to access all the other nodes (for items, credits, XP bonuses) before the alarm gets you.

If you are attacking a massive (high level) grid, then don't be afraid to use the Nuke on a high level node. If it's a level 4-5 node and you are nowhere near the goal, it's likely you are gonna get rumbled, so use the nuke to takeover the node without detection. There's 2 augments related to hacking that are very useful, one shows you an exact percentage chance of discovery, and the other shows you what is hidden inside a node.

Augment wise, I'd try and get the strength one (as Boris says) to lift heavy items and create shortcuts. To that end I also reccomend the "Fall without damage" one. As you progress, being able to jump from the top of a building instead of having to navigate all the way down again is a great shortcut.

Other than that, it's down to the way you play. I explore absolutely everything, so I beefed up my hacking skills so I could get lots of access to all sorts. About 10 hours in you might want to start about trying to be able to hack turrets, to put them on your side, but again - down to the way you play.

                          Sarif Industries?

Speaking of Sarif how did Bruce Springsteen get the job? He truly is The Boss.

That first boss is crap isn't it!

There are quite a few poisonous and fire extinguishers you can throw at him, whilst he is coughing, sprint go a barrel and throw that at him or a grenade. 3 or 4 of those and the boss is dead

Installed it on day 1 but didn't play it until today for some reason.

Not really too far into it yet, the operation video was pretty neat (even if the lab bit before that was cliched).

Really dislike the pre-order stuff, it's basically a cheat, if I wanted to cheat, I would. First thing I did was drop the bonus weapons.

Completed it today on 'Give Me A Challenge' difficulty.

Steam says 16 hours played. I know quite a bit of that was restarting different sections and dying.

This was with the majority of side quests completed that I had found. I don't know if there were more that I missed.

I thoroughly enjoyed every last bit of this. Even though the bosses were a little bit frustrating, once you'd found out the particular trick to defeating them, it was absolutely brilliant.

The amount of choices you have throughout the entire game are absolutely fantastic.

Regarding getting different endings and how to:

From what I can see, there are three different endings. Once you've defeated the final boss, you get to choose what 'ending' you want to play out.

On the final level, you have secondary objectives to either see Taggart or Sarif.

Taggart requires a maxed out level 5 hacking skill to get to.

Sarif requires super strength to get to as he has incredibly heavy objects blocking his door.

Performing either of these extra objectives will open up the 2nd or 3rd ending to choose from, otherwise you only get the choice of one.
