Eating the first fire keeper soul I found. That was a good one. Especially seeing as I was early in the game and still really crap at it -could've really done with a reinforced Estus flask.

Console DLC confirmed for October 24th, according to Eurogamer, which is two days before release of the full 'Prepare to Die' edition. I wonder where the DLC will fit into the space/narrative, and whether I should pause my game after bashing the boss atop

      Sens Fortress

      , which I intend to do later...hmmm...

From the photos I've seen (ran from any video/review/article on the PC edition) it looks like an area you haven't seen yet,

the Painted World of Ariamis, which is completely optional and not linked to the main narrative

        , and will probably accessed

in Darkroot Basin after killing the Gold Rock Golem (which appears after killing the Hydra).

I think you'll need to have got to the point where you've obtained the [HIDE]Lord Vessel[/HIDE], as part of the way into the DLC involves a trip to the [HIDE]Duke's Archives[/HIDE].

DOn't go up the ladder towards the massive scary rolling cats and

              Wolf boos

. Keep edging around the lake and you will find him.

OK, thanks. I've murderized that lot already, though, and been through the whole area - or so I thought - with a finetoothed comb, so I'm a bit annoyed with myself to have missed this other thing. No matter: it/he/she shall taste my blade.

Anyone who says this game isn't hard but only punishes you fairly for your own mistakes has clearly never made it as far as the cheap-as-F***

twin-archers on the walkways of Anor Londo cathedral!

My friend at work had a nightmare with those two. I just ran up to them and killed them first go and totally failed to see what the fuss was about lol. My dude is a serious tank with very high poise. I'm guessing the trouble it getting knocked off the walkways?

Use a bow mate. Snipe the one on the left first taking cover from the one on the right.

                      Mix up your game!

I do mix up my game but I'm not fond of bows at all (apart from my +10 heavy crossbow). In the end I went and bought the

'hidden body' spell from that bird in Darkroot Basin, then snuck up invisible on the right-hand one and booted him off the ledge.

                        Heh heh.

Nice. So many options with DS and indeed DS.

                            Tempted to start another playthrough...

                              They are using a

                              Dragonslayer Bow

, which is the only bow capable of knocking back enemies (or other playes); normal bows would only stagger enemies with a headshot. If this is your first run I'd suggest to ditch armour and roll your way to the right.
On my very first run I was incredibly lucky as the rigthmost Silver Knight knocked himself out of the ledge while drawing his sword.
                              On other runs:

Ring of Fog, Hawk Ring, Darkmoon Bow and Moonlight/Large arrows. Aim the head, retreat, rinse, repeat.

Poison arrows is a nice easy way to deal with those two
