Yep. If you need more HPs healed you can use humanities or fast-drink from the Flask (just press square again while drinking; will, of course, use multiple Flask shots).

I dunno what to do. I could either fart about and make sure I end my first play through ticking off upgrades, kindles, merchant killings etc etc. Or, I can go and fight and hopefully beat Gwyn, so I can finally boot up Skyrim. I love DS, but I think it's been inside my PS3 for long enough now.
I mean if I end it now with Queelags+5, Lightning Halberd+5, lots of armour, 2 Fire keeper souls, lots of kindled fires and SL120, will a NG+ be so bad?

Having trouble with the Cabra Demon - need advice.
Lvl 21 or thereabouts. +5 Winged Spear as weapon of choice (about 129 atk on it).
I enter the room and most of the time the dogs trap me right away and he kills me. I just canpt find a 100% strategy for getting past them after entering the room. Sometimes I can roll past and run up the stairs, but he either chases me up or the dogs go up and then the camera goes wonky and I die.
Tried it about 20 times now. Driving me insane.
Suggestions?

Cheese him:
Take off as much armour as you need to in order to run at full speed. Stick up and left as soon as you enter the room and roll roll roll. Up the stairs and face down them, shield up and start backing off. keep going right to the top of the stairs and then back off across the archway thing. Attack the dogs all the while you are doing this until they are dead. Capra Demon cannot touch you when you are on the archway. Wait for him to go back down until he's underneath the arch. Drop attack, rinse and repeat
This is what I did first time out of sheer panic as when I went through the mist I wasn't actually expecting a boss fight and I panicked (I used to take armour off to move faster and then put it one when I needed to fight so went in with no armour on by mistake). I might have got lucky I guess as I did him first time. Think I had a Black Knight Sword but the weapon is irrelevant really. Good luck!

Adding to the above strategies, after defeating the dogs never stay too far away from the Capra Demon or it will use a jump attack with both swords that will deplete all your stamina and possibly some health. Wait for its two/three combo, circle backward and hit a few times but never deplete your stamina, you'll need it for blocking and/or rolling.

I think most people have trouble with Capra demon becuase they panic, his attacks are actually really easy to avoid if you just roll whenever he does anything, it doesn't even require very precise timing.
As for new game plus, it's very easy compared to Demons Souls, it was actually a bit disappointing. Though not too much, I have finished this 4 times now.

Cheers for the advice. Beat the demon by coating my spear with flame before entering, which allowed me to down both dogs in a single slice, then ran up the stairs and did the drop down a few times. Am now in the sewers. Seems easy so far.
Got myself a Grass Shield from the Dark Forest so stamina recharges faster.
