Thought I'd resurrect this in advance of its worldwide release next week with first review (100%er from the Torygraph):

          Excited now, me.

Haven't played an AC game since the first Gamecube one, have they done away with the mini consoles for your house? They had Zelda, Punchout, Excitebike and everything.

Im going to get it. But, does anybody think that Tom Nook is Nintendo? and ive bought the same game 4 times. Damn you Tom Nook and animal crossing for being so addictive.

I think they have (?); because these days you can handily download such games for monies from Nintendo online store outlets!!! This new one meant to have 'multiplayer minigames' though. Meep.

Apparently he doesn't **** you over with a subprime mortgage this time at least. Tom Nook is behind the recession.

Any chance of confirming that this is actually you Joe, and not your missus disguised as you on this thread?

She was the one who thought Tom Nook was some sort of friend, rather than a loan shark who recruits you into virtual slavery :|

Page not found now. Perhaps they were premature with that review.

Could be. Joystiq posted one earlier today too but that's been disppeared now as well: http://n4g.com/news/1270971/animal-c...lament-joystiq. Don't see why there's faffing about embargo now as it looks like reviews are extremely positive.

I can view the reviews both ok.

From the reviews i have read it would suggest this is not reinventing the wheel but you will most likely enjoy it is you did the previous games.
