So long as you don't miss the nes games from the cube version you won't be disappointed. The series has improved in almost every aspect since

I've heard it's 6002 blocks, slightly more than the US download size, possibly due to extra languages?

Sorry Dave, I'm not going to be of much help on that front! I've never played an Animal Crossing before and what a delight this game is. I woke up at 4am like a child on Christmas morn checking to see if Santa had delivered the presents, I checked the eShop and there it was! Set to sleep mode downoad and back to bed, ready for my morning commute!

So i've only had 30 minutes on it, but i've picked my house spot, and started fossil and bug hunting! I'm only at the very beginning but I'm sure once i have caught a lot of different species it may be a bit confusing as to which I have donated to the museum and which I haven't, is there an easy way to tell? I don't want to sell the wrong thing in a spending spree.

Shaking trees drops coins, I thought they were bells but they also take up inventory space, what are these things?

Also, my town has Peaches, so once I work out the networking if anyone needs Peaches hit me up!

Some stuff in the Nook shop has to be paid for with those coins I think.
I'm 15 minute slate for work today as I simply had to catch some butterflies and sell some Oranges. Here we go again!

If memory serves, the museum won't buy something twice so just select everything and wait for the dupes to be rejected by the owl. Someone else should confirm before trying this though!

My town is called NTSC-UK and has oranges. I'll open up for visitors form about 10 tonight. Bring fruit!

Well in Wild World, Blathers would tell you if you could donate the fossil you where getting him to identify. I haven't got my copy yet, but i pretty much assume it's the same.

If you're waiting for the free game email from Nintendo, don't bother. Just log into your Club Nintendo account and get the key yourself

Anyone received their So Many Games download code for Animal Crossing yet? Still waiting for mine; my confirmation email just said it would be sent 'shortly after' release... Can't wait to play this.

@ Adam: I read that on the web, but no code for me yet. Is it in an obvious place?

[edit]...Just found it. It was one of the scrolling banners.

Am I right in thinking if I get an orange from you I can plant an orange tree? Or is it just that foreign fruit sold in your home town gives more Bells? I won't be able to visit tonight as I've got some people over at the house, maybe later!

As soon as I logged in, the code was on the welcome screen, where the banners are.
