It's not really a game. More like a Farmville type thing with a f**kload more character and oozing Nintendo charm.

It's something you'd mess around with on commutes, during work breaks, and before sleeping.

Yep. You play this game alongside something else. with the DS game I played for 3 or 4 ten minute sessions a day generally.

Will everyone stop "playing" it next week though? I don't want to buy it and then nobody comes and hangs around by my bins.

haha! Yeah there's some really tough boss battles mate.

You are told how to do everything in the game. You can just do what you want. It's just a little life simulator; a bit of fun. Nothing heavy. Until you decide that you want to catch every bug and fish, 100% populate the museum etc.

                    Yes!
Not as bad as it seems IMO because whilst you can potter about for hours in reality I find that I go on, get the new fruit that's grown, search the beach, dig up new fossils, cash it all in, spend dosh on new haircut, t-shirt, wallpaper etc. and then put it back down. If you spend hours at a time on it it can become a grind.

I've been playing it since last year, although my addiction broke after the 4 month mark of playing anywhere between 10 minutes and 3 hours day. I have the DL version so I don't even have to worry about changing carts

                      Briareos (and everyone else):
My village fruit is apples, I also have oranges, cherries, mangoes, lemons, pears, peaches, lychees, dorian, bananas and coconuts. I do have some PERFECT apples, which will only grow in villages where apples are native fruit (I've tried with perfect peaches from MrSands). Selling a perfect apple in other villages gets you something stupid like 6000 bells a piece.

Peeps, don't be greedy though. Leave some for the next person and always drop some of your own fruit when you come to visit someone else's village, it's only polite.

So between this and MH3U, I'm pretty much set. Sounds good.

                          I want this.

                          I want this hard.

If Sainsburys have it I won't be able to resist I think...

                          Fingers crossed then!

I got it! Not opening it until later though. It's my reward for getting through today's to-do list. Just like when I got Prowl for doing exams back in the day...

                                Right, idiot question incoming!

I've never exchanged friend codes on the 3ds, all the codes everyone is talking about, are they the 3ds friend code or a game friend code? Is it the usual story of we both have to add each other and then we can go to each other's villages?

Side note: I got a perfect peach! But I sold it as I didn't know what I had. Can I plant trees without a watering can?
