Been playing this all day really loving it.

Nintendo have bee sneeky making some shop items only available with play coins meaning you are more likely to take your 3DS out and about with you to rack them up.

The game is much of the same from the previous games but they have taken a lot of the small niggles onboard and done the best to remove them.

Selecting the town layout and being able to add bridges is the sort of thing i want to see more of. One thing i did find weird, i was told i could have my house anywhere, yet the first 4 places i tried were no good.

I also do think the town names need to be longer they are restricted to 8 characters. I would also like the option to continue living in the starter tent. I am quite happy with that.

Does anybody know if you can evict animals from the town? One of them did not attend my tree planing ceremony i want him gone!!!

your house position is assuming it'll get bigger with more downpayments. my first place wasnt accepted, so i just moved down a tiny bit till it was acceptable. presumably if you never pay nook the first amount you can stay in the tent forever? not sure if that would totally stop game progress or not.

town name limit is annoying, as i had a whole bunch of names i was considering, but the eight character limit meant i only had one choice in the end.

looking forward to getting back on it tomorrow evening though.

These things are very small minor annoyances on the grand scheme of thing. Do you know what the maximum number of residents you can have is?

Looking forward to picking this up this week as a download version. Anyone know what time the EU eShop usually updates? Could it be available from 12:01 am on the 14/06 do you think?

Thanks, I guess I'll have to be patient on the Friday waiting for pub closing time and the eShop update!

                          Newcomer question:

How does the museum work with regards to donations? Is the idea that you donate the first type of bug/fish/fossil you find the museum so it’s housed safe somewhere on display freeing you up to sell any subsequent finds of that same type as bells?

If your playing it for the collection aspect yeah, it sure is tempting to sell the rare stuff for mega bells though
