Taking back my earlier LMG rubbishing, i found myself a way to make it work as long as ou stay way from tight areas. Picked up some dead guys LMG after running out of ammo on assault Rifle and he had FMJ/Stock and Target Finder on the 1st LMG you can get... ffuuuccckk does it solve alot of problems, decent speed movement on the aim, nice clean targets to aim at when holding down the trigger as alot of players don't use cold blooded, shooting gits sniping behind cover never gets old. Started coming out of matches with 2:1 ratio's and feeling boss (unless the match was dominated by UVA, only so many i can shoot down).
Just opened the last LMG up and had a go.. its almost perfect with the rapid fire burst(for close encounters) slowing to a steady pace great for holding down the trigger and the reloads are fast, just working up to target finder and stock now though i might not need it the standard aim is nice and high off the gun so the muzzle doesn't cover the target when holding down the trigger.Last edited by Tobal; 20-11-2012, 18:15.

I can't really understand why this game seems to annoy so many people. Its a decent game and I'm enjoying it immensly. the campaign is great, the online is fantastic as always and offers loads of content (15 maps by todays standards is pretty generous) and it even has the crappy zombies mode that I'm not arsed about.
Even the disgustingly amateur graphics have started to grow on me after about 10 hours of play. Black ops 1 was my favorite COD game and this is my second. It will be my number one favorite if they release some bigger maps as downloads. a lot of the maps are quite small and sort of force you in to playing the game in a certain way. could do with a bit more variety IMO.

as dvdx2 says LMG is all about the mods you put on it, starting with a bare one is painful. Not sure on the aiming down the sights, that has never been a problem for me as i have a habit of looking downthe sight every time i go to turn a corner and getting stock means you can move alot faster aiming down the sights. The last LMG doesn't need fast reload mod as the clip last long enough to make sure whatever your firing at is dead and as its clip based and not boxed its as fast as a rifle, you just need to get out of that habit alot of people have of reloading after firing a few bullets.
I used Recoil/FMJ while exping for stock(speed movement) and target finder, then went FMJ/stock/Finder.

I've been reading up a bit on the WiiU version and I'm mulling changing formats to it. I only really play TDM which is the most played mode in that version but apparently because there's usually only about 500+ players online at once the servers more solid and its a much better port than the PS3 version. Hmm.

I've got one level left in the SP campaign now and I'll be trading it for Dishonored on Friday. I think it's a decent shooter, not as good as the first Black Ops although some of the levels
(e.g.: Lahore under flood, rocket-launcher horseback fun vs. mega-tanks)
really are, in my view, best-in-series for manic spectacle and 'oorah!' over-the-top nonsense. I'm finding the whole
faintly-incestuous revenge
plot rather over-contrived and implausible even by CoD standards
(drug-baron on righteous crusade to bring planet to its knees because of a stray grenade that accidentally kills his sister, who he was stroking while she slept)
. Writing is hilarious: "The Russians want to give us one last show of strength. Let's give them one last show of courage! /Roars!" And the characters on all sides are unsympathetic and obnoxious as hell. A good drinking game might be to segue all Admiral Whatsisname's cut-scenes together and have a swig every time he says "cocksucker". You'd be leathered in no time!
MP remains good for a certain type of manic deathmatch play, but I think it's true the size of maps and advantages of playing SMG Rambo-style unbalance the game. Weaker SMGs and more space in the maps (also, less warren-like maps) would make alternative loadouts and gametypes more effective/attractive, I think. My own experiements with SMG/Rambo loadouts consistenly gave a much higher K/D than anything else I tried, even though my perks made me totally exposed for endless easy deaths from scorestreak assaults from the air, etc.
Really enjoyed the future-tech aspects, which are integrated brilliantly (if a little too cautiously?). I understand Activision have copyright the title 'Future Warfare', and I think the succesful try-out here of near-future sci-fi stuff bodes pretty well for an entire future instalment set in real sci-fi land.Last edited by Golgo; 22-11-2012, 10:33.
