What I can't understand with this entry is how people can be so vocal about the problems with Resi and the devs of this ignore those issues. The amount of times an enemy has emerged behind me or directly from under my feet is daft. Not to mention when human enemies appear and the clunkiness really shines. I can see what they tried to do with Carver too in terms of how the story works around when not in coop but they fail to nail it, the mans a ninja, there one second gone next.

It just gets on my nerves when people can't speak objectively, they like or don't like somthing for superficial reasons but fail to see the actual quality of the underlaying game. I know I should let people just enjoy what they enjoy, and to be fair I'm not stoping them from doing that, but I believe in objectivity when giving an opinion.
And yeah if I didn't know it was designed as a co op game Id think there was a twist coming and carver is actually a figment of issacs imagination.Last edited by rmoxon; 12-02-2013, 13:04.

rmoxon, can you hurry up and vote in the poll to rate the game so I know what score to give it?

If each of the players saw on the screen that they were the main character and it looked like the other player was the secondary one (Dom, Cody, Daxter, Luigi etc.) and then at the end you find out that they've never actually been there, that would be a bit of a head hump!

That's actually a class idea!

I'm actually shocked that the ice planet seems to be the best part of the game. The combat is incredibly dull when outside, with the player simply moving backwards while you shoot things that run at you in a striGht line, but its less frustrating than the indoor combat. The atmosphere is improved on the planet too, which also Suprised me.Last edited by rmoxon; 12-02-2013, 14:27.

I rated it based on the game and what I had played so far (12 hours). For something to hold my attention for that long is a bloody miracle these days.
Sure, the spawning enemies from behind thing does grate a little but not enough to hamper my enjoyment of the product as a whole.
It looks nice, sounds brilliant, I have no issues with the controls and I'm finding it fun.
But then I really enjoyed Uncharted 3 so clearly I'm deluded!!

Plenty people enjoyed Uncharted 3 even though that had many of the same short comings of this game, so some people are obviously much more forgiving of glaring faults that have needlessly appeared despite not being in the previous game than I am.Last edited by rmoxon; 12-02-2013, 14:36.

In terms of the rear spawning I'd say its much worse in this than in UC3, the trouble here is that many of the environments are tight corridors so its awkwadd to get the camera in position with your back turning to a wall to try and spot them. They have a tendancy to leg it and get all up in Isaacs grill... fo'shizzles

I can't believe how much they have made a mess of this game, all they needed to do was deliver a continuation of the perfect Dead Space 2. Yet they just seem to have gone out of their way to ruin everything that made it one of the standout games of the generation.
