Hmmm... Platinum looks achievable unless I'm missing something in the details. No requirement to get golds anywhere except the license tests?

Yes trophy list doesn't look like the grind it was with B-Spec in GT5 etc, and some of the Licence tests in that were a nightmare, the Vettel one springs to mind. Longest distance one could take a few months to achieve.

I really need to up some of my cars to the max with a bit more planning I think, should stop me struggling in some races, already got the trophy for winning a race with a car PP100 below the limit though, and it was only on in a PP650 race I think

Really enjoying playing this though. Plan on trying the seasonal events tonight.

Any tips for that 1 litre of fuel coffee break challenge. Need gold!

I've not done any of the Coffee Break ones (mainly due to the rewards for them early on), but Youtube will sort you out

            Ahh thanks, David.

Go to options mid-race and find 'GT Instrument Customisation' section at the bottom of the menu, if you haven't already found it.

Coloured my dials cobalt blue just like my VW at night.

Is there an option to scatter used KFC and McDonalds boxes, empty coke cans and kebab filling all over the floor and seats? I'd like to drive my car in the game.

Just tip a bin on your lap before playing

up to the fourth set of events now (after many hours play) and thve old on everything apart from the Coffee Break Cone challanges. The first MX5 one is just too hard and not fun.

I'm struggling on the first drifting coffee break. Using the DS3. I try and turn into the corner (not too fast) do some handbrake and then fight the steering wheel. Problem is after the first gate, I'm all over the place. Tyres are hot, so If I need more throttle, I immediately go west. It's an embarrassing display here at Autumn Ring.

I find the drifting quite hard, and thats coming from a person who actually used to do it in real life a few years ago! haha

I found slow in and not too much angle gave me the best results, even though thats the opposite of what youre ment to do.

What peripheral's are people using with this here? Just DS3 for me.

I have always preferred to race with a controller. I do have a wheel but have never really got on with it.

I have now opened up the fifth set of races.

I tried that Coffee Break Eco Challenge with the CR-Z and didn't even manage a Bronze. Nowhere near as easy as the early one.

I am still wondering what the best car for that Historic Int B race series is. All the ones I have seen don't seem to get close to the PP limit.

What cars and what races have people used for the PP630 and Over beaten at 100 PP under Trophy.

The "Like the Wind" Route X race is about the best way to make money (so far anyway). You can complete it in under 5 minutes which ought to be good for about half a million an hour.

One disadvantage with going to the original DIsk Version of the game (no updates) for maximum money from the Vision Mercedes is that the Le Mans type cars are much more expensive. I suppose not that much of an issue as you are making 19 Million Profit from selling the car. Apparently that update yesterday reputedly increased the low price of some of the cars in the dealers. I think some of the Audi racers were affected and I am sure the price of the Fisker Karma is more now as well. I will be checking this if I get frustrated enough to live through another re-download. I wonder what other cars were hit with a Price Increase courtesy of that Update.

Another thing with the V1.00 of the game is that there is one less Manufacturer in the US Dealers section. Didn't bother to check on the European and Japanese ones.

If you want to unlock another BMW to buy, do an Arcade race with the (Courtesy Car) BMW M3 GT '11 which will unlock a Base Model of the car in the game proper. This gives you a chance to colour it and number it to your own tastes! Saw this at GTP. It raised the question of what other cars are there to be unlocked.

Thought this warranted a new post...

If anyone is on O2 (or knows a non GT6-er who does) and doesn't have the Adrenaline Pack (Cizeta, GT86, Shelby Daytona Coupe, SLS AMG GT3 and '13 Focus ST) then you can use the O2 Priority Moments App to get a Redeem Code until December 21st.

I managed to find someone to get me a code (fortunately). Now if only I could get the other two Packs I don't have...

Having reverted to V1.00 (no comment!!!!) I have noticed some interesting things.

V1.00 - the Red Bull X2010 and X2011 are the full 20 Million Credits. Le Mans cars are around 4-6 Million Credits. Some of the other cars (Audi LMS Coupes for instance) are over 2 Million Credits. No Deltawings.

Vanilla V1.01 (before the in-game update). Red Bulls are now 5 Million. The Audi LMS Coupes are 365,000 or 375,000 Credits

Updated V1.01. Red Bulls are now 6 Million. Some of those Audi Coupes are now almost 1.6 Million Credits.

I wonder what other cars will go up in price before PD are finished...

With the price reductions on some, If you are going to get some money the unofficial way with some of those Mercedes VGT's, sell them one at a time (20 Mill max in force in V1.00) and use the money on the expensive stuff. When you are finished use any remaining Mercedes VGT's to buy Ferrari 250LM's at 20 Million. On reverting to the current version (maybe not doing the in-game update if you want the cheap Audi LMS Coupes), you can sell the Ferraris for 6 Million Credits apiece if you are short of cash for that must have car.

Bear in mind that without the Stockyard (I wonder when that will be patched) you can have 500 cars in your garage.

Seems a bit sneaky to me. Get the reviews out the way which all comment on how little the micro transactions have effected the game as a whole. Then after the media circus ramp up the costs so it's harder to afford cars.

Shame really, I like the game, but I doubt I am going to bother farming like I did before and I refuse to pay real money for something that should be fun to achieve rather than an artificial grind.
