Are activision going for mmo levels of revenue with this game but in a stealthy way I wonder?


I shouldn't criticise. Each to their own. I only played the Alpha. I just wonder why this game is so expensive compared to its peers. Hope it's not the shape of things to come.

The winning combination of Bungie and Activision of course.

There also a interesting post by someone claiming to be a Bungie staff member staying what a cluster f*** the development of the game was. Bungie have tried to claim the post is fake, but some of the stuff mention seems to hit the nail on the head. The trip mines that appear only in the first level, the reef cutscene were the dialog makes no sense if you are an awoken character. Story sections that appear missing and them not linking together.

Nail on the head their, as an awoken character the story falls to bits there, it baffled me that something that broken can be left in the game its not as if they had hundreds of factions to look after.

Activision are to blame for this. Most of this stuff ive paid for i should be able to play right now, should have been the basic game.

I see we have lvl 10 strikes and so on, not much use story wise when most ppl will already be 25-30 before this is even out.

I'll check out Destiny when it comes out on PC. Definitely interested in it.

Those new strikes will appear in the Strikes playlist though, which allow you to replay strikes at higher difficulty levels. I think the Strikes are the best part about the game, so more of those will be welcome.

Thought that was all sorted?. I've handed over 2 legendary engrams (I've only received 2 in my whole play time) both got turned into ascendant shards.

I've noticed a lot more engrams being dropped on average now and also I've been receiving weapons and armour from the crucible which I didn't before. Though it all could be withdrawn as quickly as it was given knowing this game.

Its a bad PVP weapon. Too low impact. The Shingen E Rare is much better.

I opened the Oracle buff and stability, but ? won't pour any Ascendant in it. Its not worth it. I'll save up for the Shadow Price. Atheon is great in the Raid for its Void and Oracle killing but not much else.

Its a carbon copy of Dr Nope, with Void added.

I can't think of a single game that had DLC that rivalled the quality of the main game.

Actually, Dishonored did.

Skyrim, Fallout3, Burnout Paradise, GTAIV. It can be done without coming across as cynically milking you user base.
