It's been pretty low on player, but most strike matches have players.

Remember to play via the Strike playlist as the Weekly strike don't matchmatch and require you bring in your friends or clan mates.

Yeah, that's what I was doing. Was trying to play lvl 22 & lvl 24 strikes. Very strange, and has happened quite a few times before too.

All the matchmaking in story has stopped working for me full stop. One day it just refused to put me in with anyone and hasn't worked since

Looks like that's the first alien weapon you can obtain too.
The crucible nerfs all player levels and gun damage though how is that gun mowing people down like that?

Its a single shot fusion rifle as a basic weapon(though it looks like he can only carry 20-30 odd rounds and has no decent perks)... still its an unbalanced piece of **** that should banned from pvp and if i went up against I'd quit out to.

Looks like there sniper and shotgun that can be used as basic weapons as well.

It nerfs damage of course but doesn't nerf upgrades.
So rate of fire, impact, range, stability, reload and magazine size can all be upgraded of course.

I have the primary shotgun...its only good when you fully upgrade it...has the range of a pulse rifle then

Just had our first Raid run...2 hours to the last boss but had to give up

Got the raid boots though... Perfect for me as I hadn't used any shards on my old ones!!

                Up for work in 4hours...

Looking at that expansion pack info that was leaked, if it really is just a bunch of up rated missions, then they can get fooked.

Simply changing some modifiers on difficulty is as simple as flicking a switch for them, charging money for that is a liberty. Now if it was full on new planets I would be tempted to carry on playing.

my thoughts exactly its ?35 as well, I bet they up the level you can get to though and wont let you get there unless you buy the expansions. There are new areas on each planet to that are on disk unlocks with this dlc too, I mentioned in the news thread that via a wall hack someone has gotten into these areas so there definitely in the current build. So on disk DLC and harder mission strikes doesn't sound like that good value really.

This isn't correct. Each DLC pack has the following content:

1st pack: 4 new story missions, 3 new crucible maps, a new raid (taking place on the Moon) and 2 new strikes.
2nd pack: 4 new story missions, a new raid (taking place in the Reef), and 2 new strikes.

All these new activities take place on Earth, the Moon, and the Reef, but they take place in new areas on those locations, not existing areas. They're a little over priced IMO, but it's possible to get PSN/Live codes a lot cheaper on eBay, which will level it out to a better price.

The new areas are already on the disk though, to me it smells like they held content back to sell on at a later date which is pretty shady, you will be traversing old ground on these new story missions as they all seem to be in locked off arrears on the far sides of maps we have already done, from what I've seen of the wallhack stuff on youtube these new areas don't look that large either.

Exactly, for ?35 I expect a whole solar system, not access to locked off areas already in the game.

To put the content In perspective wow provides entire new continents and races plus god knows what else for ?10.

Or for ?35 I can go and get shadows of mordor, an entire brand new game. What bungie see as an expansion pack i n this case I see as free filler until the expansion propper, and I'm saying that from a neutral stand point as I enjoy the game, but ?35 is a joke.
