Looks like SVC Chaos has finally been released for the X-Box - Just picked it up from my local for ?20.

It didn't get released on april 1st after all, but then a 1 week delay isn't all that bad... well, when you put it against the rest of the delay

          PS2 version out???????

            Yeah, that's out too.

Just had a quick look through the Manual, the overall presentation is very nice - Only problem is that you can tell that it's using PS2 screenshots in the XB manual but it details such things as live and such, so it's all good.

EDIT: Had a bash on it, a few notes from playing the PAL X-Box version in 60Hz:

            - Features a more 'american' Announcer. BATTLE TILL YOU DROP!!!111 and all. bah, and you can't change it either :/

            More concerning ones though:
            - when you're in the character select screen, the second you select a fighter there's a half-second stall before the 'ready' animation happens. doesn't happen with the 2P/COM side afterwards.

            - a *slither* of a delay (blink and you'll miss it) between the arena pan/character shot to the actual smack talk section. After this, there are no delays that are truely noticable within the bouts of the match.

            - During the sections of a fight where a 'flash' is used (such as supers and counter hits), there's a black flicker which is highly noticable. :/ luckily, you can remedy this by turning off the 'Flash' functions, but this is sure to piss off some people. I'll see if this happens in 50Hz, too.

I've had Metal Slug 3 since 2001. Poor (as in can't afford an AES) PS2 owners.

Metal Slugs 4 & 5 aren't meant to be that great though are they?

I've got 1 on the Saturn, X on the PSone and 3 on the PS2 (plus all of them on MAME), much as I love the series I don't need inferior Slugs.

As for KoF, well, I've had 95 and 97 on the Saturn, 99 Evo on the DC and 00/01 on the PS2.
I'm not sure which one I liked the best and I've still never had a definitive answer as to which the best ever KoF is...

4 and 5 are definitely inferior. Still worth a look on the cheap. 5 is better than 4.
They should be a double pack though.

why the hell is 4 priced more than 5? i agree on the double pack though and for kof2002/2003. i take it we'll never see 2000/2001 on xbox

funny, simplygames has it (2002/2003) as a double pack slated for 2nd sept priced at 22 quid. daaargh! who to trust!
