      Testify!

I hate the bloody water-puzzle bit in Onimusha. I can do it off by heart now, but it's such a drag.

The Bayside Line circuit in Ridge 5 - too damn long for it's own good.

Devil May Cry 2 - the whole game.

Metal Gear Solid: The section where you had backtrack to certain areas to activate the temperature sensitive key cards. Unnecessary and boring.

Really? I quite liked going back.

Am I the only person who likes MGS2?!
I think it's a brilliant game, with exceptional controls. I love all the levels and all the bosses. So shoot me.

To be fair, I think the furnace and the ice room were only seperated by a couple of rooms, as was the main Rex building, so it wasn't such a biggy for me.

No. I think it's superb - the controls are sublime & the terrain well thought out.

              Story's a dog though

Oh, yeah, the story's awful. That pressing '0' then start thing to whizz through codecs etc. really saves the game.

Here's my suggestion on how the plot should have gone -

Rose: "You remember the night we watched King Kong at your appartment?"

Raiden: "Yes. I should have killed you then."

I second the final stages of Half-Life.

In the main I dont like FPS, and Goldeneye and Half-Life are probably the only exceptions to this rule.

I thoroughly enjoyed Half-Life all the way through up to the alien levels at the end.

I spent about an hour on them before turning it off and never going back to it - I hope the end sequence wasnt great!

It wasn't that it was a chore to complete, it was more that with all that had happened prior to that point, it felt more like a way of extending the duration of the game before that climax.

                        Oh yeah.

The section with the water pump in Ico. The bit where you have to time your jump so you can reach the overhanging bar above.

                        Infuriating and generally crap.

As soon as you got to the alien planet in Half Life, it was just CRAP, the lvl design was crap, the story went crap, everything went crap. Almost completely ruined the game for me. Almost.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHH....i cant beleive i played that game for 72 hours....still havnt finished it.

                            Random battles are absolutely crap.

Plus...it wasnt till i was 40 hrs in, that i relised you can reduce the summons animations. ft:

Awful game...but i got engrossed in the story. Might go back and try and beat Sin, but i think i have 20 hrs of leveling up to do.

                                Water Temple in OOT.

Great level design, but it really showed how piss poor the swimming sections were in the game. The mechanics just didn't feel right and I felt as though I had no full control over Link. You'd just float up and up and up.

Yes, it may have been realistic but it sure wasn't fun. Zelda is a game steeped in fantasy, and I really wished Nintendo had kept with the swimming system seen in Super Mario 64.

Come to think of it, I wish they'd kept it in for Sunshine too.
