The dream levels in Max Payne. I thought they worked very well as nightmare levels, with the constant crying of the baby and the blood pathways, but they just dragged on, and were very annoying. I suppose they did help to show how Max blamed himself for the death of his family.

That bit wasn't hard. Everyone complains that bit was hard.

        Well it wasn't.

Try it with a n64 pad full of that weired white powder stuff around the anolog stick i was playing this and it kept sicking you need precision control, which i diddent have, i ended up throwing the pad against the wall

And do you mean the last last goron bit that you dont have to do to finish it the one to become super zelda because that was the only one that gave me any problems

Sounds more like work than a game. Why do it if you don't really enjoy it?

I had to turn the sound down because tht baby was doing my head in hate games with anoying sound effect loops, they just put you off.

It's probably easier to play when you're not wired on coke.

Ah. I wonder if this is also why I can't understand any of his posts?

The n64 analog stick had an annoying habit of grinding itself down when the pad got old, creating a white powder type residue around the anolog stick. this makes the analog part unresposive and prone to sticking, shareing a flat with a bunch of goldeneye and iss manics also helped contribute to the death of my pads.

oh and snorting coke while playing games can also contribute to this problem

Wipeout 3/XL/2097 - If these games were 60fps they'd be perfect.

I must agree. And no, you didn't miss too much. Killing the final boss was dull and difficult (giant alien baby in a big room with nowhere to hide).

PSO Dreamcast - The lava levels (2nd or 3rd area), really boring and unimaginitive compared with the opening jungle sections and the later watery levels.

Tis true, the N64 pad did get very nasty after much use.

I must have gone through about 5 official pads, but today I only have two in operation. And no, I don't own Mario Party.

I actually heard from somewhere that the white stuff was salt from sweat, but I cannot confirm this.

I was never sure if I believed that, or just agreed with the other poster here that it was the stick grinding itself away.

Anyone going to taste theirs and tell us?

Just thought I'd bump this (how self-indulgent of me).

I just thought of another example; the submarine level in Viewtiful Joe. The one with the torpedos that keep coming in from the right. By no means difficult, but annoying and quite fiddly.

Then you have the stupid puzzle where you have to hit the three buttons to light them up (just after Joe S-L-O-W-L-Y drops into the section).

I simply could not wait for that stage to be over and done with. I love this game to bits, but that level just got on my tits (what a rhyme).
