that's right zapp - it looks a little funny, but it's all there from what I see.

I've uploaded a couple of image caps of the video. I don't remember anyone telling me there was 8-player battle mode, let alone that you can play with CPU characters. Looks like someone has to chuck in a preorder =0

Nice. I didn't know you could play against CPU characters in battle mode. Might have to pick it up on release if that is the case, rather than waiting for a while to pick it up on the cheap.

Does anyone know the n64 track line up yet? I know moo moo farm, sherbet land is in there. I`m really hoping koopa trooper beach is in there, loved that waterfall shortcut when there`s 4 of you battling to get through it.

The video on the other page is great. It looks stunning, the transparency effects on the boxes is superb... it does look like it's being played on a digital controller, mind. Turning looks pretty tight, but it should be amazing... most anticipated game of the year with the WiFi.

Oh man, that track! One of my housemates and me would spend hours doing the time trial and shaving 1/100s of seconds off the record, it got to the point of obsession.

No idea on all of them, but the video footage shows 8 of them on the menu:

              Shell Cup:
              Mario Circuit (SNES)
              Moo-Moo Farm (N64)
              Peach Circuit (GBA)
              Luigi Circuit (GC)

              Banana Cup:
              Donut Plains (1, iirc)(SNES)
              Frappe Snowland (?)(N64)
              Bowser Castle (GBA)
              Baby Park (GC)

Same here, me and a couple of friends would spend hours on the n64 version in either multiplayer or time trailing. Mario circuit and koopa troopa beach were the main ones especially down to the fact of nailing the shortcut everytime especially on mario circuit of going up the hill on the corner, boosting and flying over the wall. And thats was one of the great things about the n64 version was the risk involved in taking some of these shortcuts cause if you messed it up it would put you way back.

Isn`t there 4 retro cups though meaning there`s 2 undisclosed on each version? I think your right on it being Frappe Snowland instead of sherbet land.

That's right - There's 4 cups locked between the Nitro and Retro Leagues, so there's still 16 tracks that wasn't shown in the vid. So there's still hope for my beloved Wario stages from the N64 and GC versions ^_^

Just been looking at the pics over at jeux-france, not 100 percent sure what tracks are what but I`m sure one of them is yoshi`s valley of the n64. Can anyone else see what other tracks there are?

Anyone seen the new article up on Eurogamer? A load of new info on multiplayer, and a pic of a red DS MK is launching with in the States. I'm getting well excited about this game now!

Not that I'm a picky bastard or anything, but the presentation looks a bit boring.

I'd rather it clean and navigatable than cluttered and convoluted.

There's actually a few more screens of the wireless connection process somewhere (I'll see if I can find them). Looks nice, clean and simple. Exactly what the general public needs to get some MK action going!
