Ikaruga get! Surprised that I missed this upon original release and I forgot it was on XBLA. Fancied playing it the other day, and now I can for ?3.60!

Also, need to big up Rocket Riot. I love this game, a bit repetitive but instant thrills and a basic mechanic that works so well. Only a couple of people on my friends list have it. I think it passed most people by because it's:

a) not from a well known developer
b) not an indie darling
c) not associated with a licence
d) not a redone version of an old classic

Give it a go though. I think it's fab.

Aye, you're one of the few on my friends list that have it .

I'm up to level 52 on the campaign and it's getting hard. The enemies circle above you, so you can't just carpet bomb them from above with quick rockets. You need to carefully aim and take them out.

Yup, no DCs throughout. Answered 18/37 (10-19) as did the majority. Too many ski-ing questions for my liking though :P

enjoyed 1 vs 100 tonight, got 80% of the 37 questions including the art ones! Not to hot on the football ones though, managed to be first in my group like an uber dork

Um. I wasn't expecting to but I quite enjoyed the trial of Madballs. There's a multiplayer mode in which your Avatar's head shoots other players' heads. Anyone else willing to admit to trying and liking it?

yeah its not bad i dont know if its because my expectations of this where so low or if its thats its actually quite good fun to roll about blasting things.

Theres a nice momentum to the movement and the weapons are quite cool, the way the shot gun rolls you back a bit is a nice touch. Seems to be that there will be a bit of a balance between navigateing environmental hazards and blasting.

It has a sense of humor too, I had to laugh upon entering the hard traning area i was denied the big gun because id shot one of the robots little buddy's by accident.

Not very interesting factoid, when Kraftwerk originally wrote the song for the Tour De France back in 1983, the TDF organisers thought it was crap and refused to use it. Only when it became a big hit did they change their minds.

And the Tour de France album released a few years ago is exshellente.

Sadly not, it has some awful music and awful graphics.

It's not very good, and I'm a Pro Cycling Manager fan. It's basically a stripped down version of the PSP game, which is a stripped down version of the PC game. Avoid unless your'e a big fan of cycling.

Wasn't really a fan of that ball game either. I take it it's based on some obscure (or just American) license?

Monkey Island is the jewel for me though this week. Had forgotten how much time it consumes though!
