Wii consolse, One full controller and Wii sports for $250 I was kinda expecting a bit cheaper tbh with that xbox 360 core deals at christmas theyll be basicly the same price. Anyone have and idea when europ will get there release dat/ price come one nntento just let us know

Why is the nunchuck seperate?

Is it becuase it'll only really be used for one player games such as Zelda? Although I can't see how Madden would work without it.

Still a lot to learn but I'm a bit disapointed with the news so far (price, etc)

Please GOD don't let them announce a post Xmas launch for us.

It's only about ?33, not alot more than a wireless 360 pad. Great news about Wii sports being bundled with the machine, at least everyone who buys the machine will see the true potential straight off the bat (lol pun)

its because it is the most expensive part of the console and to maintain the low price look of the wii they have priced it separately.

We'll definitely get an EU date this week, I'm just not sure if it'll be this year anymore. Though having said that, Nintendo will probably make it so Europe gets it first and cheapest now. :P

Yes, but I made the same point with the PS3 being precisely ?100 more expensive over here than it is in the US a few days ago (a difference I'm still cynical of). Exchange rates and (clearly) VAT have to be taken into account in terms of difference.

Probably ?170-180, and at that price, gamers will buy it, especially Nintendo fanboys/girls. Can't see the much heralded non-gamer crowd Iwata likes espousing about going for it at that price though.
