The controls at times make sense in a good way. Your character is fumbling down a steep hill, so the on-screen button prompts can be erratic and make you fumble with the pad. Nice stuff.
I had a bit in the sleazy bedroom scene where the prostitute kept on running back and forth between the the end of the bed and her bedside table whilst I played through the scenario. Certainly broke the cinematic atmosphere I thought.

Still, things are looking good here and the 2 characters we've been able to play as so far sound spot on. I don't hear their voices and think 'that doesn't match the character' or anything like that. Good signs.

Cage claims it doesn't do any such thing, and Gamercyde had an early review up (maybe because they're French?) in which they said the plot stays fairly 'normal' from beginning to end. One man's normal is another man's Salvador Dali, I suppose, but I'm relatively confident Cage has learnt a few lessons from Fahrenheit. We'll see.

EDIT: Translated from French, but to quote:

Muh ha ha etc. I've been upgraded to free EMS shipping on my one. I'll have finished it before you PAL'o'trons have even took off the cellophane. And there you were saying importing was dead. Well "Sayonara, RoboCop!".
        Kept you waiting, huh?

The same way you always do I'd imagine. Put your head on a pillow and close your eyes. I'm not aware that there is a really bright light or din that comes from my game room that would stop you.

                  18th - Japan
                  23rd - USA
                  24th - EU
                  25th - AUS
                  26th - UK & IRE

For whatever reason, it only seems to be the UK & IRE that are getting the additional character and chapter in Chronicle One: The Taxidermist free of charge. It's not been announced for the other region's yet although it'll surely get an announcement at some point. Chronicle Two hasn't really had any info concerning release dates yet.

They're each supposed to be around an hour in length which doesn't seem bad to me.

does the extra Chronicle one only come free with the limited edition?

Yeah that's part of the hmv exclusive edition, although it will obviously still be available to download for non hmv shoppers.

Hold on, extra Chronicles? I've not been reading anything about the game in hope of not spoiling it. What are these extras?

There will be 4 Chronicles which DLC add ons, one for each character.
Chronicle 1 is free with the euro specia edition or free for US pre-orders, will be $4.99 per Chronicle.
Heavy Rain: Chronicle One - The Taxidermist is a Madison Paige side story.

Note that the Taxidermist story was what Quantic Dream used to demo the game engine at early PR showings, so to the DLC conspiracy theorists, yes, they've had that one ready for a looong time.

Can't wait to play the DLC though, you?

I guess so, yes. I reckon I'll "play" through the regular game first though.

I always get a nervous feeling when purchasing Japanese PSN cards for DLC. I can't even explian why or anything! Hehe.
