Third party needs to make a Saturn pad clone or similar decent 2D controller. I also can't pull off any kind of moves on the pad, can spam the thing on the Saturn >_<

Originally posted by marcusOn the plus side, at least the screen is resizeable, although (as Ive been wanting for years now) Id love to see a higher res SF instead of the blocky graphics we have here but I wouldnt expect that sort of enchancement for a XBL Arcade game and live in hope someone updates those low-res characers eventually.
I know SNK have been balking about not developing on next-gen HD systems until 2008-9 when there's a sufficent userbase built up for smaller games with smaller audiences to gain some money back from increased development budgets. Designing hi-res fluently animated sprites would obviously be included.

Capcom evidently think not.

Seems to play OK with my pad, but definitely not as well as with MAME and an arcade stick - I beat the AI reasonably easily, but what's the difficultly set on to on the demo by default?
Totally agree that disconnecting prior to defeat online should give a loss.
Also a massive shame that the leaderboards are purely online wins - would it have been so difficult to include a single player leaderboard too? You do have to wonder what Capcom have been doing during all this delay time.
Oh and I still hate fighting Dahlsim - he is the one I still struggle to win against :/ So, it definitely plays as close to the original as the Xbox pad allows.Last edited by MartyG; 02-08-2006, 18:53.

Originally posted by MartyGYeah it did, and you just counter by shielding then jump-direction kicking. Also, the up jump hard kick totally works against Zangief on AI. It seems to play as identically as I remember all those years ( and questionably 800 points worth ) ago.
