You not tried the update then?
I reckon I'm best sticking to online until they fix they update, but unless we get confirmation from Nintendo that it is the update causing it, and they plan on fixing it, that might not happen.

I've finally got a confirmation that VG+ will be shipping my Wii today. I emailed them and it is true that they are holding some of the orders so they can ship it with Zelda. If you email them like I did they should be able to ship them separately for you.

I'll be fair, I know I've been here crying like a fool cause they ain't sent my Wii, but they're really did a good job making the best of a bad situation, keeping us informed about when we can expect our consoles. And while I think I'd rather they just sent the console asap, I think they did only hold it back for out benefit.

They send using DHL right? Do VG+ email you a tracking number?

I assume you paid customs - do DHL take card or cheque?

I just phoned IM and got a messaging service like you lot. If it's not shipped by tomorrow night i'm gonna cancel and claim my UK one. I left a message "i'm speaking on behalf of the internet about your shipment of Wiis"

when i got my PSP via DHL, it was DHL that emailed me the tracking numberm they must supply dhl with all your information and i got the information from DHL before i got the receipt from Sidney

i didnt pay customs on it as it was marked as a $20cdn book

i have however gave DHL customs duty before and he was happy to accept a cheque at the door

Yes, but some people didn't get it. Just send an email to Sidney and they'll kindly let you know what it is.

Neither in all my experience of using them. They send you a bill later (can take 3 months +).

so... anyone had any progress with their DVDBO wii orders? even - dare i say - an actual delivery? ----- the status of mine is still "will be charged soon", as it has been for the last 3 days or so, and i'm beginning to wonder what significance that actually holds. ----- my remaining hope is that the current slowness is due to thanksgiving and it'll all sort itself out tomorrow (but then again, is thanksgiving even celebrated in canada...?).
